About Fallout Verse

History

War. War never changes. Since the dawn of humankind, when our ancestors discovered they could kill with rocks and bones, blood has been shed in the name of God, of justice, or simply out of psychotic rage.
In the year 2077, after a millennium of armed conflicts, humanity's destructive nature could sustain itself no longer. The world was plunged into an abyss of fire and nuclear radiation.
But despite what many had predicted, it was not the end of the world; the apocalypse was merely the prologue to another bloody chapter in human history. For man had succeeded in destroying the world, but war, war never changes.
At first, thousands of people managed to escape the horrors of the holocaust by seeking refuge in enormous underground bunkers called Vaults. When they emerged to the surface, all they found was the hell of the wasteland; except for the inhabitants of Vault. Because on that fateful day when flames rained from the sky, the massive steel door of Vault 101 closed, and it never reopened.
It was here you were born, and here you will die; for no one will ever enter Vault, nor will anyone ever leave.
