If you are using trains set their fetch cooldown to a very high value or revoke/rename their fetch permission to prevent players from fetching trains.
Working on a fix.

This is a great plugin. I'm going to make some of the vehicles free to VIPs and all of the vehicles will go in the rewards store so anyone can purchase them.

When testing, everything worked apart from I couldn't get the cart to spawn, no error message it just wouldn't spawn.

The workcart can only spawn if you are looking at train tracks, and I'm not sure how it will behave when fetching.

Let me know if you find any unexpected behaviour.

Feature request - cooldown on fetching to stop people binding it to there mouse and using vehicles as portable walls.

How to allow player to purchase a vehicle without giving them permission to use the plug in anytime they want? Seems that a player could cheese the system and just spawn any vehicle they want without having to purchase it via server rewards or on the shop. 

 

Also, is there a way to save the purchased command as an object and have it spawn the purchase when the item is dropped?

Example: Player A purchases a MinCopter, the MiniCopter is represented by a burlap sack in Player A's inventory. Player A throws the "burlap sack" and the purchased MiniCopter spawns at the location the burlap sack landed.

Could we get an update with the new trains as well from this new months patch?? 


I am hearing reports since this patch that vehicles are becoming "unowned" somehow. Not sure why but I feel its related to the new patch.

I put in a support ticket, but I'm just wondering if anyone else is having a problem with the spawnable vehicles randomly not working. Sometimes it's the minis, sometimes the boats and it affects some people but not others.

I have a feeling this issue may just be Rust being Rust, but a player reported to me the following:

If you have a spawnable horse and you stand on it, then fetch it, it spawns slightly higher than it was before. You can repeat this over and over and end up high in the air. Not a big deal for a PVE server like mine but I guess it could be used by players on PVP servers to get into bases. He tried it with a mini and the mini just fell to the ground.

So, not sure that this is a Rust issue or if this can be fixed in the plugin.

Here is an interesting thing - players have been noticing if they despawn their scrap helicopter while it is on top of their base it is also removing a wall, floor, or turret that is next to the scrappy.

I had that issue when I despawned a vehicle next to a building pasted with Copy Paste, but haven't tried it with my base. If that happens with vehicles, that's certainly a game breaking bug. I'll test it on my server too just to be sure it's not a conflict with another plugin.

The dev hasn't been seen in a week and a half and there's three pending support tickets... wonder if something happened to him. Is anyone else getting this error in the console?

It seems bsdinis may have abandoned this plugin. He last logged in 8 hours ago but there's support tickets as old as 5 weeks with no response.

So that's it then. It now won't compile with the recent update.

Ok, so the dev for this plugin doesn't read this section anymore but maybe we can work it out. The spawning of water vehicles no long works due to the water update. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Interested about this plugin for a replacement for Vehicle License plugin. That plugin no longer stops decay of the tugboat. If this plugin can stop the natural spawns of tugboats and prevent bought tugboats from decaying, i will buy it on positive confirmation.

This plugin is able to prevent Tugboats from decaying.

Does anybody know what are the permissions for all the vehicles to give to somebody for example in a shop they're selling rideable horse what will be the permission to give to the player when they purchase a rideable horse for example

"Command": "oxide.grant user {steamid} rideablehorse.use",

 

and yes I tried this it doesn't work lol rideablehorse.use
