Unfortunately, I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but there is a setting available from Facepunch, although I haven't really worked with it before.

hi, thers an issue with the dungcollector not working right after placing it. i have to always do a oxide reload on the mod to make it start collecting. which obviously cannot do normal players. is there a fix to this?

I'd be happy to check the plugin for you. We are actively using it and haven't encountered any issues so far. It's important to note that the player who places the box must have the appropriate permission. Additionally, only the dung dropped after placing the box will be automatically collected.

the default group has the permission AutoDungCollector.use, AutoDungCollector.give
and yes, the newly dropped dung did not get pulled into the boxes until a mod-reload

Since receiving the report, we have tested it on our server, and there have been no issues whatsoever. All the dung produced after placing the crate is automatically moved into it without the need to reload the plugin.

Are you perhaps using another plugin that deals with dung or horses?

we have increased ridable hors-spawns. but that is a server-setting, not a mod. I have gotten notifications from other players, that they have to wait for the nightly server restart for the collector to work. thats very likeley due to the reload of all mods when the server starts. Also it doesnt seem to be always the case, that the collector is not initially starting to work - i cant really make much sense of this issue myself.

I assumed that every server that uses this mod, had the same minor issue with this. But since players already know how to deal with the issue, its not that big of a deal.

Unfortunately, until now, no other buyer has commented on whether the plugin doesn't work for them. We have tested it on our server and haven't encountered any issues so far.

It's important that people who place the box have the permission "AutoDungCollector.use," as those without the permission won't collect horse dung with the box.

Update: I think I have found what you mean. If someone doesn't have the permission, the box shouldn't collect dung. However, once the plugin is reloaded, the box starts collecting dung even without the permission.

also, is there a way to put costs to claiming the box? as you can put anything in, its currently an easy way to get large boxes for free.

if there is a command, you can usually add to any shop that supports commands for currency

Have you assigned the permission "AutoDungCollector.use" to yourself? Keep in mind that the AutoDungCollector only collects fresh dung. Existing dung that is already in front of the AutoDungCollector will not be collected.

You can temporarily ignore this error; it likely only occurs when the server is restarted, and I haven't had time to address it yet.

The AutoDungCollector 1.0.1 plugin is working perfectly fine; we are using this version ourselves.

The user placing the AutoDungCollector crate also needs the AutoDungCollector.use permission. If a user places the crate without having the AutoDungCollector.use permission, nothing will happen, and the dung will remain on the ground.

Therefore, please assign the AutoDungCollector.use permission to the default group if you want every player on the server to be able to use the box.

Oxide command: oxide.grant group default AutoDungCollector.use
Carbon command: c.grant group default AutoDungCollector.use

However, if you want only a specific player to use the AutoDungCollector crate, you need to assign the permission to that player.

Oxide command: oxide.grant user STEAMID AutoDungCollector.use
Carbon command: c.grant user SteamID AutoDungCollector.use

It's important to emphasize that dung already on the ground will not be collected.
However, I will revisit the issue and, if needed, release an update accordingly.

The permissions were all fine and working yesterday.  The error started when we did our daily restart and it has been... working haphazardly since.  I reloaded the plugin which then tripped off the error in front of me.  I doulble checked the permissions and they're all fine.  Yet some work and some don't.  It seems like existing boxes stop working, but if you place a new box after each daily restart, it then works.

can confirm sometimes it need a plugin reload for some reson it dont work plz fix.

I can take a closer look at it, we use it on our server and have no problems, so it is always difficult to find out what the problem could be, because every server is different,

Once again: If we use the plugin on our TestServer and MainServer and the problem doesn't occur there, how are we supposed to fix an issue that doesn't exist for us?

If we only receive the message "Please fix," nothing will change because we don't get any further details from you. There might be compatibility issues with other plugins.

My players assign themselves the permission, place the chest, and it works – without reloading the plugin.

I then send an updated version of the plugin via PM to the affected users, but I don't receive any feedback on whether anything has changed.

For me, it stands: "If no one responds, the matter is closed for me."

@m3dus4 also received a different version from me and I'm waiting for feedback!

@Reder  I'm sending you another version now. Please test it and give me feedback!

wev had this issue in the past, but not anymore for the last 6 month, when we changed the box to cost something instead of a free of charge spawn. if i remember correctly we also changed something about the permissions

I have revised the plugin 1.0.2, but have not received any feedback yet as to whether it works.
