while not ideal, this is from the last update.

the issue is that the ownerid is not assigned to the player that uses the cancel command, nor should it. it will require a new command to claim the base instead, and assign the ownerid to that player. edit: I've added this in next update

hope to release the update soon. testing is nearly finished. I refuse to release something that I don't feel is ready. just wish it wasn't so difficult so I could've released it sooner than later 😛

Hello - some questions:

do we need the raidable bases plugin for this to function?
do we need to set Zones to PVP for this to work or does this plugin automatically set the bubble area to PVP/raidable?

looks like a great plugin

this plugin does not belong to the "raidable base" plugin.The plugin creates the pvp zone itself.

This plugin is working great!

My only complaint so far is that players are not being notified that they are inside the PvP Bubble.  
It tells them when they leave and they can be attacked for an additional x seconds, but nothing when they enter it.

Quality plugin as usual from nivex

hey thanks. big update coming soon that should address all known issues 🙂 just waiting on final testing for it to be completed.

 

I apologize to everyone for it taking so long. it was a bit over my head and quite the learning curve to fix everything.

I keep having to reload the plugin. The time left message won't display on attack. And players are reporting that bases are displaying as active on the map but cannot be damaged(I'm guessing this is a zoning issue).

New update in next day or so will fix this

Trying to allow my players to toggle their base to be PvP/raidable by using /sar.  If they change their mind, they can use /sar cancel. 
 

the issue is, once they use the /sar command - or /sar cancel command, they lose all building privileges and their walls,doors, any entity because an ‘unknown owner’.  They basically lose their entire base.   This caused me to disable the plugin for now ☹️

Please tell me, I'm trying to run the SAR command and I can't, I have issued all the permissions that are required, but none of the building is converted on command, what is the problem. It worked correctly before the update.

nivex, can you add something like this? 

speical command that when placed it creates a PVP zone  (pay via scrap or RP)

this zone does not spawn if you place it near a tc which is not yours

but it will spawn near a tc that is yours (if you want to make your base raidable --- expanding abandoned bases plugin)

or if you want to make a venue PVP

heya, sorry, not sure why I didn't respond to this. download the latest update. if it doesn't convert then you are missing permission

/sar can convert with the abandonedbases.convert permission and proper configuration settings can do this

@saintmichel13sorry for no video. busy with real life lately. can you explain your cooldown request in more detail?

1. does it start when raid spawns?

2. does it reset each time their base is attacked?

3. what should the default value in seconds be?

4. does it prevent them from starting a new raid for its duration or a different duration?

5. any other conditions, etc

sorry wasn't clear. i implemented the plugin and explained to my players so they were excited to try it out but their primary concern is if they started raiding someone and that team is losing, they might call / sar cancel anytime soon so it reverts to non-raidable again

I'm just trying to get the automated conversion of bases into abandoned bases working and nobody has seen one pop up yet.  Am I correct that it should be automatic and some messages should show in chat announcing the events?

yes, there are 3 permissions in the configuration file and the default group must be assigned one of them. you can then assign your VIP players a longer permission, etc

in order for this to work automatically then you would need to enable it to do so in the configuration file:

  "Run Once On Server Startup": false,
  "Run Every X Seconds": 0.0,

I suggest running it on server startup on to conserve server resources. if you insist on running in on a timer then it should be no less than 3600 seconds. you can manually start this yourself using the command sab

Had a player tell me today that if you build your base with twig foundations it will bypass the foundation requirement. 

No idea if this is true since I haven't seen it. But this is coming from one of the players who's super into raiding the abandoned bases. So I'm guessing they know what's up.

Also a question on the min requirements. If I drop it down to 1 and 1 (foundation/walls) will that open things up to any exploits?
Or will this prevent people from setting up 1x1 stashes to go to if they get "Wiped".
