This map is fully editable, though all edits will be lost when the map is updated. This map also includes a few premium monuments, as all of the custom monuments are broken down. Research Island is a small, 3000 sized map. It contains all of the main procedural monument which normally can't be generated in such a small map. With this there are also a bunch of small, unmarked points of interest. This gives players a variety of things to do, keeping them active. Immerse your players in world packed with monuments and beautiful aesthetics. This 3k map contains every vanilla monument, caves, a zipline path from Outpost to Train Yard, freshwater lakes, and a custom mineshaft with a secret building area and loot. Below is a full list of monuments included. Altair features a very high monument count, including everyone's favorite, Launch Site, but with balanced building space kept in mind. Your players will love the endless variety, and because the map is 3K, players will be contesting monuments like never before. This map is the closest you can come to pleasing everyone! Altair also features a higher node count than typical procgen maps . Nodes spawn on all topology and biomes (Fields, forests, deserts, etc.) not just on cliffsides, providing a much needed increase in building materials. Your players can recover from a raid quicker or take care of upkeep in their massive compound, so that they can focus on PVPing. This is also a great way to keep players from moving on to a new server if their base is raided, since rebuilding a base can be a daunting task at times. All of my maps have one goal in common, increasing engagement and retaining players. Through trial, error, and suggestions on my own personal servers, I can confidently say that this map is perfect for up and coming servers with pop at or below 75. Was tired of trying everyone configs and couldnt seem to get it right for a monthly So after a week of testing and getting feedback im releasing my config. No junk in any containers but has a couple items to keep as place holders so no one gets OP items first day of wipe. My goal was to keep the monthly loot stretched out for the whole month but not keep it vanilla. I balance it everyday and edit it everyday to find that sweet spot but this should help you to edit off of.
