  5. Sorry for the back and forth — ignore my topology post, my first guess was right after all. It's the splat: the prefab has Sand under that area, and sand spawns grass on its own. Nothing wrong on your end. Two options: paint Rock over the footprint at 100% brush strength (a couple of passes, including over the hole), or wait — I'm uploading a fixed version of the prefab shortly, free update on the Codefling page.
  6. Update — I dug into this and the real cause is Topology, not the splat. The prefab's ground splats are fine; what it's missing is a topology modifier, so the map generator still spawns vegetation across the footprint.
  7. I'm baking the terrain modifiers into the prefab so this is automatic on placement — do the quick paint above, or wait for the free update on the Codefling page.
  8. That's not a prefab thing — it's the terrain splat. Grass comes from the Ground layer, and Alpha only cuts the mesh, so grass keeps growing over the hole. In RustEdit: Terrain painter → Splat → Gravel, brush strength 100%. Paint the whole footprint, over the hole and 2–3 m past the walls. Topology → add Building, remove Field and Forest on the same area.
  9. Changed Status from Pending to Can't Reproduce
  10. Hi! I’ve just tested everything again on my local server and couldn’t reproduce the issue — all images are loading correctly on my end. Could you please make sure that: - you are using the latest versions of uMod and the CopyPaste plugin; - the “Hide Signs” option is disabled in the Rust settings menu under Censorship.
  11. At the time I built the Cinematheque, the scarecrow was basically the only viable way to represent a human figure. If I were building it now, I’d definitely use a mannequin. That said, I don’t think it’s worth re-saving the entire file over such a minor detail—especially given how unstable the CopyPaste plugin can be. In practice, players have no trouble understanding that it represents a generic “person” anyway.

A fully designed maze event base, perfect for PvE servers… — or even PvP (just imagine a bunch of nakeds stumbling through the passages with double barrels). Players enter a classic labyrinth — but with a twist: throughout the maze riddles offer optional shortcut routes. They’re not required to finish the event, but solving them lets players bypass sections and reach the goal faster. Supplied as a ready-to-use .json file compatible with the CopyPaste plugin, this set is perfect for events, challenges, or just giving your server a memorable side attraction. Also includes a separate pdf-file with puzzle descriptions and solution codes. File contains handy interactive black bars to avoid accidental spoilers. Like labyrinths? Try the Three-Level Labyrinth. Hungry for more puzzles? Explore the full Puzzle Houses series: Season 1, Season 2, Season 3, Season 4, and Season 5.

  13. Well, okay then. I just wanted to temporarily hide two free demo versions of the event bases to analyze the view stats for the full versions. I don’t want to remove the demos completely just for that.
  14. Is it possible to hide somehow some of your files from the view on CF? (make them invisible to the other users)
  15. Hi everyone, just a quick question — will there be a special feature or section for Christmas projects this year, similar to what we had for Halloween?

  17. Thanks for reviewing and approving my base! Looks like I might’ve rushed for nothing though — there doesn’t seem to be a “Bases” category in the Halloween section, so my Horror Cinematheque didn’t make it in there at all.

  19. I know I’ve brought this up before, but it’s been a week and my base submission still hasn’t been reviewed. I understand the queue can take time, but this build was made specifically for Halloween. If it takes much longer, the whole point of the event will be lost. Would really appreciate it if someone could take a look soon.

Just drop this striking mini-monument and make your map truly shine! Stonehand is a mini-monument, dramatic rock formation shaped like an enormous stone hand: four narrow spires with a fifth off to the side, resembling fingers and a thumb. Huge abandoned nests perch atop the “fingers” (climbing into one grants 100% comfort — the perfect spot to rest). Tool marks and scattered debris hint at a colossal but unfinished sculpting project long since deserted. The hand looks most atmospheric when placed in shallow coastal waters, but it can be positioned almost anywhere on land as well. Players can climb across the rocks to discover hidden loot and vantage points. A small shack with a green keycard door offers an extra point of interest and rewards exploration. Perfect as a striking landmark or event location on your map. The prefab includes a height map for smoother placement and consists of 342 objects. Loot Available: 7 x barrels 2 x oil barrels 2 x normal crates 2 x basic crate 1 x toolbox 3 x food crates 4 x stone nodes Green card room: 2 x military crate 2 x barrels Installation: 1. Download the archive 2. Unpack the downloaded archive to the /RustEdit/CustomPrefabs folder 3. To ensure proper in-game functionality of electricity make sure Oxide.Ext.RustEdit.dll is placed in the /serverroot/RustDedicated_Data/Managed folder (see details at https://www.rustedit.io/threads/rustedit-oxide-umod-extension.695/). This extension requires Oxide/uMod to be installed on your server.

  25. For me personally, it would be an interesting task to teach the GPT chat to design Rust buildings and produce an .json file. That will be fun. But first it should read a tons of existing bases and make sence of it.
