This skinning plugin is the best skinning plugin to use for a rust server. I have tried many throughout the years, and I have found this one to function without barely any impact on the server. No clunky UI, or high RAM usage, or clutter. Its similar to the ease of SkinBox, but way better in performance, and the dev has top notch fixes and updates if needed. Don't waste your time and money with other ones out there. Some have more flash than substance, and for 24.99, this plugin is the best value, and only plugin you should use for skins.

5 stars! I've used this since 2022. It has always been the best skin plugin imo, but with the v2 changes, this is now incredible.

Whispers has knocked it out of the park, especially with the performance improvements and the auto skinning.

If my experience is anything to go by, this plugin can easily pay for your server upkeep, as its one of the most desirable VIP features.

I own all the skin plugins out there, this is by far my favorite, simple, performant and actually works without breaking all the time. Thank you Whispers for your work!

It's been a few weeks since I purchased the plugin for my server. Honestly, I regret not having come across this plugin much earlier.

Whispers you have earned all my respects mate, I have not seen practically no other author with the level of updates like yours, and even on the same day that new Skins are released.

I must thank you infinitely for your constant work, since to many administrators as in my case that does not give us the life with all the issues of the server to have the Skins updated by this addon is a wonder!

Very nice plugin. Many functions are combined here that are missing in other plugins.  Easy to use.  Good performance without unnecessary huge menu.

Skinner is definitely one of the best skinning plugins out there now. So much faster than skinbox and also feature rich. We have a plugin heavy community and appreciate any performance plugins we can find. 

Dev has been very receptive to new features and is quick to fix any problems that arise. Recently just added the Disable auto import config which we requested for our community and the dev added it! Can’t wait to see what else comes down the pipeline!

Like most, I have used all other skin-able plugins out their, each with their own headache or problems.
Well I am extremely pleased at how well this skinner plugin handles its logic, not only being feature rich but also ensures compatibility with plugins!

Another great Plugin from whispers as always works smoothly and doesn't negatively interact with other plugins

Noticed Skin Controller was chunking memory during peak times so switched to Skinner and had no further issues. Profiled both with Carbon profiler and the difference is wild. 

Skinner is a very easy to use plugin which offers a variety of functions to help you skin stuff the way you want it to be. The UI is simple and adding skins is a breeze. When there are new skins released by the game, it is automatically added without needing any action from server admin. The creator, Whispers88 is responsive and offers great help with troubleshooting any issues with the plugin. On top of that, this is decently priced as well. Highly recommended plugin for any servers to let your players unlock a variety of skins.

The skin search bar makes it 1 of a kind as well as being able to add a whole collection with 1 chat command. 

The new 2.0 update has been an amazing change for the plugin! I also love the use of the new carbon profiler! Great work man!

I have used other popular skin plugins, but Skinner is by far the best! Being able to set default skin loadouts, auto skin picked up items, and skin all base items in one command, all container items in one command and the ability to skin deployables without picking them up is so great! Players love that they can request workshop skins to be added now as of v2.0

Would love to potentially see a gui for admins to remove skins in the future, but for what we need it to do Skinner ticks all of our boxes. Also Big props to whispers88 who was able to patch something 15 minutes after being told about it

 

Hands down the best Skins plugin available for Rust. I've tried ALL of them, I kid you not. Skinner has the best performance, lowest response times, and best feature sets with the most intuitive UI you can find. Not to mention, the plugin author is active, responsive, and pushes updates regularly. It's hard to find that in other plugin authors. They listen to feedback and gladly implement changes within reason.

5 Stars all day for this plugin. Trust me, you don't want to purchase any other Skins plugin. THIS IS THE ONE.
