Skinner 2.1.4

As of Version 1.0.4 there is a big duplication bug existent in the plugin. Any item allowed to be skinned by the plugin can be endlessly duplicated. I have reported this to the dev who will hopefully fix this as soon as possible.

UPDATE (edit): This should now be resolved in the newly release 1.0.5 update. The dev's response to the issue has been exceptional.

Would it be possible to convert my old skin cfg in to this type of cfg?

If its from another plugin than probably not.

Thank for messaging me with the bug st4tic. Ive triple checked everything in 1.1.0 as well

Not sure why you keep asking the same question, But no there are currenlty no discounts at this current time. You can run this plugin on any of **YOUR servers, so as long as you own the server you only require one license.

the wait for this functionality is very long

Is it possible to limit the skins available to an individual player to the skins that player has in their Steam inventory, perhaps based on a permission? The plugin could still load all the skins it needs on startup, but just limit a given player to skins they own (which can be rechecked when the player log in)
Obviously this would be an optional function, but would allow a server to limit the players to skin they actually own and therefore not devalue the server's skin collector residents.


 

Any plan to add a way to search the skins when selecting? I like the auto add from API to stay up to date but players are asking if theres a way to search by name to filter out when going to select a skin.

Does this plugin work with Custom map object place in RustEdit or only player placed object?

Thanks for the awesome update! Just a heads up, when searching for skins by name, etc. in the new Search option, you need to "Close" or "X" out of the search term before attempting to re-skin again (if looking for other Skins.) I find it easy to forget you searched for something previously and you get confused why only 1 skin is showing up when trying to skin something.

Is there a way you can have it "clear" the search box after searching for the item? Ex.) Search > Apply the Skin > Then bring back in your inventory > Auto clear the search box? If not, totally get it. Might make sense to keep as-is if you're trying to skin multiple items to the same skin.

PLEASE READ UPDATE NOTES IN REGARDS TO CHANGES

It is highly recommended that you back up your config prior to this update due to config changes.
 

that’s what was listed in the change notes for the update. Although it’s quite strange that your config got wiped and not converted. Feel free to dm me your rcon/oxide logs from the update and your current config. 
 

with the current version you don’t need to manually add short names and you can also import collections as well.
