I purchased this plugin over 60 days ago and have been providing regular feedback to the developer and it is still not ready for prime time in my opinion. I am not able to use this as my primary skin plugin and have since moved on to a competing product.

The developer is nice and responsive, but he is argumentative about broken/missing features and has not implemented fixes for the issues I have reported. The two biggest issues I have with this skin plugin are:

1) The imported skins file randomly gets deleted when you either unload the plugin or wipe your server. This means that, unless you have a backup, you will lose all of your imported/added skins, which for us is hundreds of skins.

2) Players who previously had access to the plugin and had a saved outfit, who then later lose access (think VIPs that don't renew), still have their kits re-skinned when they redeem them from a kit plugin.

There are some other minor issues, like page numbers starting at "0" and many items that other plugins support skinning for not being supported here. But, I just can't recommend this plugin at this time.

Response from the author:

Hello Newp,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to update you on the progress of the plugin development. While we were communicating I fully re-wrote the plugin to ensure everyone has the best experience possible. Additionally, I've been actively sending you beta versions to ensure you have access to the latest updates before their official release.

I want to acknowledge that all the issues you previously mentioned were addressed and resolved as of November 26th. Regarding the paging system, while it's standard for pages to start at 0 in books and documents, I have made adjustments to the system to align with this standard.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced due to these issues. Your feedback has been invaluable in enhancing the plugin, and I am committed to ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for you going forward.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or need assistance.

Best regards,

Amino

Does everything I need, and the theme matches out of the box which is a huge plus.

Developer is very responsive, and has been making many new tools that fit nicely together.

The skin controller doesn't function as expected and has several issues. Both chat and console commands fail to work properly. When skins are added, errors occur, causing some to be missed, leaving blank spots in the skinbox. The UI is still buggy, with buttons occasionally not responding correctly. Specifically, I had trouble with the "Apply Loadout" button. While the developer does respond eventually, by that time, you'll likely have already switched to another skinbox, as I did.

Response from the author:

The commands that were having partial issues under some conditionals, those being "addskin" and "addcollection" have been fixed.
Added extra null checks to Item Redirects which is when some items would not be skinned after pressing the "Apply Loadout" button.

The aesthetic appeal of how this particular feature seamlessly integrates within my personally designed menu is truly remarkable; having invested in crafting a custom menu that resonates with my unique sense of style and sophistication, I am genuinely delighted by the visual outcome. This menu not only serves as a testament to my distinct 'swag' identity, but also significantly enhances the practicality of altering the appearances of various in-game equipment and items, a prominent example being the versatility it offers in customizing the appearance of a pickaxe. Whether I opt for the glistening purity of a snow-covered landscape, the vibrant lushness of a grassy terrain, the arid beauty of a desert expanse, or even the diverse array of biomes that the virtual realm presents, this custom menu provides an unparalleled convenience in seamlessly transitioning between these distinctive visual themes.

Furthermore, I am profoundly grateful for the additional layer of positive impact that this customization brings, as it contributes to the support of the overarching carbon community—a community I hold in high regard. This commendable feat was accomplished with the valuable assistance of the amino platform, which proved to be an invaluable resource. Through proactive engagement within their dedicated support Discord, where individuals passionate about this domain converge to share insights and resolve queries, I garnered insights and guidance that were pivotal in realizing this endeavor.

The collaborative spirit fostered within this supportive Discord community cannot be overstated. By extending and receiving assistance, fellow enthusiasts, like myself, collectively contribute to a virtuous cycle of knowledge exchange and growth. The provided link (https://discord.gg/WMCDNcxj3m) stands as a testament to the accessibility of this support network, allowing anyone interested in propelling their creative and technical pursuits within this realm to partake in this enriching experience.

In summation, the harmonious fusion of aesthetics and functionality within my tailored menu configuration serves as a testament to my unique individuality and preference for stylish intricacies. This amalgamation not only streamlines the process of personalizing the visual attributes of diverse equipment, such as the iconic pickaxe, across various virtual landscapes but also underscores the positive outcomes that collaborative communities, facilitated by platforms like amino, can achieve. As I continue to navigate this dynamic and creative digital landscape, I am reminded of the incredible potential that lies within the intersection of individuality, innovation, and communal support, exemplified by my exceptional menu setup and the network that helped bring it to fruition.

One of my favorite Skins Plugin! I was really sick of having to use a .dll for the other not going to be named skins plugin. So I'm really happy that this Skins plugin exists. My players love the features of being able to skin their whole kit fast. This plugin has so many great features for skinning. I'd recommend it to any server owners. Great UI as well!

This plugin is a population builder + especially in countries like mine where there are not many "premium servers". 100% positive feedback from players. Great job.

Very intuitive and easy to use.  I also love the different permissions that allow this one plugin to work for different levels of perks.  The fact that you can skin things through so many different ways is amazing!  Very well done!

I try to give fair and honest feedback. And to be honest, the plugin is good, but not so good that I would buy it again. The plugin had some performance problems at the beginning, but these have been resolved as far as possible. What really annoyed me personally is that every time the plugin was restarted (whether it was a server restart or an o.reload) the skins were duplicated, so that after a while there were 210,000 skins in the database, even though I had only saved about 200 unique ones. The developer has fixed that. The UI is very nice to look at and the developer responds promptly to inquiries and fixes possible bugs.

Good, clear plugin with some teething issues.
