Hi - I'm having a strange problem I hope you can help with. I have made zero changes to my RaidableBases config files in several days but all of the sudden, bases are not spawning on their own. I reload the plugin because there were no bases when I logged into the server and the correct number spawned (max maintained events = 10) but once those timers counted down, no new bases spawned in. Any help would be appreciated!

hi, have you saved any bases with copypaste since the last rust update? you will need to update copypaste if you haven't already 4.1.37 and recopy all those bases again. failing that remove all newly copied bases from your profiles

if you haven't copied any new bases then use the rbe debug command in the server console when this happens. type it again to toggle it off.

My version is 2.7.2 on my CS file.  I see you just did an update last Saturday and the version is the same as I have.  Are the Version numbers off?

hi, 2.7.2 is current and was not updated on Saturday. sometimes the website will display the wrong date and I've found it unusual but I've never mentioned that bug to @Deathfor some reason. either way you will see 2.7.3 when it is updated 😃

Hey Mr.Nivex!

Ok, so this could be a TruePve issue not sure so will enquire here first.

So I made a raidbase with Metal Barricade, the one with barbed wire on. Now walking on it slices me to bits which is what I want, but when spawned in as a raid does not give that effect. It just slows the person down without the slicing. Is this a TruePve thing or Raidables do not allow it?

Thanks if you can help, so few things to kill people with, would be cool if this was sorted. Have a beautiful weekend!

Hello for some reason I am spawning what I can phantom bases, which are bases that do not show up on the map, have no walls, or have any indication that they are raid bases at all. (No I do not have them spawn silently.)

My raid bases are s'pose to spawn with map indicators and chat announcements, etc.

These phantom bases will spawn with my actual raid bases, and just sit there, they won't despawn. I have to destory them myself.

I was wondering if you ever heard of something like this?

if your host is using Linux then they have to install libgdiplus.

if these bases were copied recently with copypaste then you need to update copypaste to 4.1.37+ and/or re-save them

no one has reported any bases spawning like this. it has always been that they spawn with everything but do not despawn when they're supposed to because of a bug

you can enable Despawn Dropped Loot Bags From Raid Boxes When Base Despawns in each of the profiles to see if this fixes the issue if the above doesn't apply to you, oxide/data/RaidableBases/Profiles/

it's been reported from a few users that this fixes the issue with the base not despawning properly. it will destroy the gray loot bags that drop from the boxes in the base so players must loot them before the raid despawns. it will not destroy any loot belonging to a player. this is the only workaround atm

Hi Nivex, is there any plan on having a "Force All Doors To Have Same Skin" option? like the boxes one. haven't really rusted for a bit.. and was looking at workshop door skins, some are so good.

i think it would help give a uniformity to the base, and also help differentiate from the other bases if they're not all just mixed doors.

cheers

heya. I do believe you can use Preset Door Skins option for this.

it seems using the Preset Door Skins makes the deployable(door) skin come from that list, instead of the Imported Workshop Skin list. but doesnt force any skin to be used for other doors? im wanting eg. all single sheet doors to be one skin, garage doors to be one skin..

so using the Preset Door Skins just lets you use a different list of skins for the doors, rather than the list of skins used for loot items.

is there another option im missing, that forces the skin to be used on other deployed doors?

@Swedish Chef

yea it will only work for that specific type of door

I added your request in next update which you will need to enable

Added `Force All Doors To Have Same Skin` (false)

Despawn Dropped Loot Bags From Raid Boxes When Base Despawns

It seems that this loot option is causing the base despawn issues. Please enable it in your profiles and let me know if the issue with the base not despawning is fixed for you

You would need to remove prior existing bases before changing this setting. You can do so by using AdminRadar and typing /radar buildings raid. You can then go to each base and use /rbe kill_cleanup to destroy the base.

oxide/data/RaidableBases/Profiles

Thank you for always providing fun plugins.
I have confirmed that this one is working correctly.
