Loot Audit is no longer for sale.
Version 1.5.0 is working as intended as of 05/22/2024.
Any future updates will only be for major issues from Facepunch/Oxide updates.
No new features will be added.

Please don't consider this as pestering or impatient, but I'm wondering if there's any update on how the 2.0 version of this plugin is coming on.

Like many others, this plugin causes lag spikes for me. It's becoming an issue at times, and I know that for quite some time you've said you will not be updating this plugin again, with our only hope being the 2.0 version.

I've attached an image showing that when people do basically anything, there's always a wall of text informing me that the plugin is taking some time to complete things.

I have to use this plugin, I consider this basically the most important admin plugin that I have, I'm just curious about how much longer we have to wait for the more performant 2.0 loot audit.

I understand the frustration and I did say it was coming soon a while back.
I've been busy irl and things changing with rust updates I just haven't had time to finish it up.
This week I will try to get it done.

ok will look at it, for now you can put use debug to false in config to stop it.

Is there a way to specify items? Like I'm only person interesting in logging boom/explosives.

I know you were looking into this and have just released some updates, but would like to let you know I've got the same thing happening even with 1.4.3 installed. I'm not sure if this is a big issue or not, but thought I'd let you know either way.

EDIT: It's actually causing my server to lag quite a bit somehow. I've added a second image showing. This is concerning because this is being tested with only 2 admin on the server.

Yeah, the more i try to fix the more things break...
This is why I added the note to the sales page...
The way I wrote it back then was just not the right way to go about doing what it was intended to do.


Halting sales now that I'm home on this and focusing on finishing the re-write/New proper plugin.

Since the may update, the plugin isn't logging anything for me other than checking for loot on "scientist_corpse".  It seems broken for me which is perfect timing given how it's not going to be updated again 😞

(EDIT: I think the data file may be logging everything okay, I think it could actually be a webhook issue, with only scientist_corpse messages being sent. Going to investigate more right now

EDIT2: Unfortunately I was mistaken. Even the data file is missing out most information.)


Do we have any update on the V2 plugin? Is Codefling dragging their heels, is the plugin ready, are we going to get it?

We are currently working with the author to resolve some concerns we have about selling V2 as a separate file and essentially dropping all support for existing customers and making them repurchase the newer version.

We do apologize for delaying it, however, we feel it's essential to do so to protect the interests of existing customers.

I was completely ghosted by Codefling, still have had no response.

The new plugin is no longer on my profile and somehow the sales were enabled on Loot Audit after I had disabled them.

I really want this plugin.
It looks like 2.0 will still take a long time, so I would like them to resume sales in 1.5 if possible.

Since this update I'm periodically getting this error, I'm not sure what the cause of it is though. 

Does anyone else have issue with this, or is it just me?

I've reached out multiple times to multiple people using multiple forms literally 0 response.... 

They made a big thing out of me ending support to release the new version and once I satisfy them, within 48 hours.... I get ghosted.
new plugin is never reviewed, and ) subsequent communication.
