  • If you want to know what prefab some entity is using, I suggest you to use Entity Owner plugin. Connect to your server, stand in the front of any entity you want to get prefab name for and use /prod command.
  • If you want to get a full list of all supported prefabs into log file - use limitentities.list console command

The original author wont add it to the config, can you do that mate? I will gladly pay you for it thats not a problem.

Also the single plant pots cant be limited, how to fix that?

@Maximo My plugin can’t control what another plugin spawns. If you want to add a limit, you need to modify the original plugin’s codebase directly, rather than trying to restrict it from the "outside."

@dogigniter just set a high value and forget about it. It won’t impact performance, so there’s no need to disable it.

I stopped using the sentry plugin, so lets forget about that. How to limit the new triangle planterbox and single plant pots?

@Maximo use limitentities.list console command to get current list and add what you need to your config

If there is a limit on plants (for all different ones).

PlantA, PlantB (dlc).

The player places PlantA, spends the limit.

Then repaints This bed into PlantB.

What will happen in the end??

In other plugins the counter flies off.

Игрок ставитс ГрядкиА, расходует лимит.

Потом перекрашивает Эту грядку в ГрядкуБ.

Что в итоге будет??

В других плагинах счетчик слетает и ставишь дальше.

@shturval I have no issues on my server, and no one has reported any problems with skins. I can’t test this specific case myself since I don’t have the DLC, but you’re welcome to connect to my server and test it yourself if you’d like. And of course, if such a bug exists, I’ll fix it.

Does this work with teams and clans?

Like if the limits is 200 for something, I dont want players in clans/teams to be able to place 800 because there are more players in that group

The latest update is broken. If you are not using the grouping system and have set individual prefab limits per group, there is an issue.

In my case, setting the limit to 0 (meaning no placements should be allowed) still permits players to place 1 prefab. The restriction only takes effect on the second placement. This functionality was working correctly in the previous version.

Need update for new prefabs.
[Limit Entities] You have 1 untracked prefabs in your config file! To get a list of all supported prefabs use console command limitentities.list
assets/prefabs/plants/rose/rose.entity.prefab
I had some players who broke the server with a huge number of seeds, it needs to be limited.

In the previous plugin, I had a plants limit on the plants, which significantly reduced the load on the server. But there's one bug that the developer can't fix, so I decided to switch to your plugin.

@Soller added in v2.2.3.

While the global limit will work correctly, the building limit for growables requires additional changes. I need more time to test how to implement the building limit without impacting performance.
