Message added by MON@H,
  • If you want to know what prefab some entity is using, I suggest you to use Entity Owner plugin. Connect to your server, stand in the front of any entity you want to get prefab name for and use /prod command.
  • If you want to get a full list of all supported prefabs into log file - use limitentities.list console command

Once I figured out how the addon and had one bug fixed it worked perfectly!
One thing I wish I knew before tho (and would have made it easier to set up)
Global Limit dosent mean server wide (which is what I thought) global limit means total for that 1 player
Building limit means per building/TC

Example if you set a global limit of 5 windmills and a building limit of 2 windmills then that means 1 player can have 2 bases with 2 windmills on each and a 3rd base with 1 windmill on it.

Does exactly as described. Easy to use, great functionality.
Seems to be well optimized.

The plugin works as it is described. However as I mentioned in a posting in the discussion for this plugin, there appears to be something within the plugin which causes it to occasionally ping the server in excess of 20+ times per minute. Ultimately this review is due to the plugin pinging excessively and the author assuming they know what my server specs are and what was causing the issues on my server. If these items are fixed eventually I will try this plugin again... However as of today I have removed this plugin from my server as I cant have a plugin pinging my server like this one does.

Edit: This rating will likely go up even further as the author is really trying to help resolve this.

Response from the author:

It might be that plugin itself is not the issue. I suggested you to add me on discord so I could send you modified version with some debugging added to understand the reason of issues you have on your server.

My guess without digging deep and debugging is you probably using copy-paste with "EntityOwner (true/false)": true option, which makes Limit Entites to check every block in pasted/destroyed bases (especcially in case with Raidable Bases plugin). Try to set EntityOwner = false and see the difference.

But if you prefer to just remove plugin you bought with "negative comment" instead of searching the cause of problem - you are free to do so of course.

Super easy to use, and super easy to switch over.. I love that the entity grouping was already setup for me just how I expected to have to set it up myself this saved me a good 30+ minutes of configuration and searching prefab names). So easy to work with and it's practically already set up for you. Also the Dev that works on it is super fast to respond and explain things

If you need to limit things, this is the right plugin for you! The latest update added Entity Groups, which made this plugin even more perfect than it already was. MON@H did a great job.

I recommend it, it’s a good plugin for limiting entities. The latest update with groups is very useful, thank you. 🙂
