Another convar you're looking for is: "patrolhelicopterai.use_danger_zones false"

yeah i have this set to false as well, but the heli still flees after killing

heli flees so far away when players are killing the heli. So when the heli shoots for a bit at a player it will go away very far then after 15-20 then it will come back, is there a setting to stop this?

Edit - Think this was because a player died so it was roaming for a while

Have u try this  

Force Helicopter to Return to Player if it Moves Too far Away": true,
    "Force Helicopter to Return Even if Attacking Other Players": true,
    "Force Helicopter to Return To Original Called Position Instead Of Player": false,

 

DONT use MINIGUN on them

yeah i have those settings, think it's okay it was because a player died so it was roaming far away.

Ive set the config for these entities to be protected.... all got destroyed. is there somewhere i need to enable this elsewhere in the config?

is it possible im using the incorrect prefab path?

even your default prefabs got destroyed, wood box lrg and planter???

In the config for each Heli Signal profile there is an option to set true or false:

Quote

"Block damage ALWAYS to entities in the protected prefab list": true,

Setting this to true will prevent damage to the prefabs in the list. This can be set individually for each heli.

Some Playerr reported me, that XP wont work anymore just Easy heli is the only one giving exp, medium, hard, expert, and nightmare no longer give xp when u kill them

Please don't post the same support request on multiple sites and Discords. It makes it harder to keep track of issues and is unecessary.

If you are using the latest version of the plugin, there is now a config option to disable it for you when the plugin loads.

Hello. I have a problem with the reward for the downed helicopter. if you shoot it down and it falls, you get a reward, but if it explodes in the air, then you don’t. How to fix it ?

I have a suggestion, would it be possible to make the Discord event alerts to post embeds instead of the normal text?

Anyone else have an issue with the Heli not shooting rockets sometimes?  It is intermittent.

It's possible, but will be for a future update. Once I have got on top of the few remaining bugs on this plugin I need to give Bradley Drops some love 🙂

Haven't had any reports from anyone else about this, no. I am working on Heli strafe to address another bug though and this will bring improvements which might sort this issue too.

This should not happen, unless you are using some massive gun/damage buffs on the server maybe?

However, this will be fixed in the next update.

They work with this config option:

        "Number of rockets to fire during orbit strafe (Default = 12)": 12,
 

Number of rockets to fire during the orbit strafe is set there, the default = 12. The variance allows you to specify the maximum variance either negative or positive of additional/less rockets to fire during an orbit strafe. So as default, it will fire a maximum of between 9 and 36 rockets during an orbit. ie 12 - 3 = 9 and 12 + 24 = 36. The default config options match the default Rust numbers for vanilla heli. The actual number is chosen at random between the specified range as set in the config.
