btw, would be nice to allow admins a few slots for customized wallpaper skins in the config

I have to see how it can be done, because internally it would have to be stored in a separate list (so that there are no problems with the list that is downloaded) and on the other hand I don't know if it would be a good idea to show everything together in the same list or separately. I have to see...

Also, it should be taken into account that there are currently no wallpapers of very good quality. They don't even make the icon...

still getting this quite often. I would gladly host the images myself but would hate to have to edit the paths each release. I feel like its probably related to rate limiting as its seems almost random which images don't load, per wipe. obviously, image library is not the best at reporting failed image downloads, which has been a sore spot for me for years.. restarting image library and the better tc plugin just results in the exact same,  with image library saying the order was successfully processed,

has to be a better way to avoid this, otherwise, i and my players love this plugin!

Hi! I think you don't have the config file updated. I would recommend you delete it and make sure you have the latest version of the plugin. Several updates ago I integrated an improvement in the loading of some images where instead of using images with Image Library they are loaded directly from the client itself, reducing this problem and optimizing the loading speed.

Take a look and let me know.

its weird, I think there is something wrong still. server uptime is 78 hours, and now when i log in, and check the missing images are all there.  I had not restarted the server nor the plugin since i posted the images above. So also didn't change the plugin or the config file. looking at the plugins its version  "BetterTC" (1.4.6) by ninco90 (4.13s / 90 MB) - BetterTC.cs 
and the config was deleted from the last time posted about this issue, which deleting the config did actually clear up that issue, so i was surprised to see it come back again. I would think its just me, but i was asked by a player how to tell which color skin is which for the container skins, when i looked well, the images are what we both seen. I reloaded the plugin right then, disconnected reconnected and checked. no joy.. really odd. It still seems like some kind of a rate limiting thing to me, that it happens closer to most players wipe dates compared to a few days later. but just a guess.

Ive noticed that the Auth list is doubling the players that are listed.

Do you have any plugin that automatically authorizes players? It's probably registering twice for some reason. BetterTC reads the information of registered users in TC. It doesn't add or duplicate as such.

I just tested it on my modded server with oxide though and it looks like this.

They were added before they were officially released 😛 Just make sure you click the blue refresh button. This should add the new wallpapers for you. (However, if you edited the settings manually, they probably won't be added if they use the same ID.)

when i build a base and set a tc and then build gaps outside and use the tc to upgrade, the base is upgraded strangely. please fix this

you should log a support request and include pics or vids and define "strangely"

Could you add to allow players to add gun powder, sulfur to the tc? Id rather not add another plugin that could conflict.

Hey! That would be a nice addition, I'm looking into how to do it. I also think it would only be an option in the config and would not be reflected in the interface.

Are you referring to externals and/or anything that's not directly connected to the base? That's what it sounds like, and you'll have to use externals to upgrade those. If you're referring to building blocks directly connected to your base and they don't update correctly, definitely log a support ticket. This does have very little information to go off of.

Hello,

I’ve encountered an issue with the upgrade system in the plugin where it requires the player to have resources both in their inventory and in the cupboard for an upgrade to proceed. This is quite inconvenient, as players need to carry resources in their inventory even if they have them in the cupboard.

Would it be possible to modify the plugin so that upgrades only check the cupboard for resources, and the player’s inventory is not considered at all? This would make the process more user-friendly, especially when players have resources stored in the cupboard but do not want to carry them in their inventory.

This is quite strange, as the plugin never checks if there are any resources in the player's inventory. It always relies on the TC's inventory.

Can you share a video where we can see this problem?

When you get the message Upgrading to this level is currently locked it is because a third plugin is blocking the upgrade.

That is, there is a plugin that is calling the OnStructureUpgrade hook and is returning false. So this is blocking the upgrade.

Check which plugin is causing this.
