I mean the "Door Closer" item that goes on the door to facilitate automatic closing. That's the item they keep picking up by mistake. You can pick it up without a hammer (maybe a config issue on my end?)

Any chance you can add the option to lock picking up of the closer item? My players are reporting that they keep picking it up by mistake and it's annoying sadly. I toggled "Player Can Pickup Door Closer. (Default: TRUE)": false but all this does is make them not get the closer in their inventories when they do pick it up.
