Absolutely, I meant to do that yesterday. The default config is now on the description page. The Rust default values for each is in the config for info too so you can compare. You can make as many tiers as you wish, just copy and paste an existing tier profile below those already there with a different name, following the rule of highest tier at the bottom, always. 🙂

There wouldn't be much to show you on a video, once you get the permission the plugin changes any power source entities you own already to the enhanced figures. Thereafter, any new power entities you place will also inherit the enhanced settings. Once the permission is revoked from a player, the power source entities will also all revert to Rust default values. Any charge the players had in batteries will be converted to a % of maximum and then the same % charge applied after the change in either direction (perm granted/revoked).

The plugin works well on our servers for example using SkillTree, or Skills, or simply add the permissions to VIP groups to let VIP players have power buffs.

Because it uses permissions you can literally incorporate it into anything you can imagine. Also, since the latest version, the plugin is very lightweight and efficient, with the exception of the first load of the plugin where it gets all the IOEntity information.

Could you possibly add an option in the config to remove the "Placed with Tier 1 electrical power enhancements" chat notice?

I can definitely add an option to enable/disable player chat notices yes, I will add this to the next update and try and push it out in the next couple of days. Or if you'd rather, you can also customize the chat message in the language file.

 

If you need it disabled in the meantime, you could open up the plugin file in a text editor and comment out or remove line 136, so it would go from this:

            if (chatAnnounce && !tier.Equals("noPerm"))
            {
                entity.MarkDirty();
                Message(player, "Placed", entity.GetDisplayName(), tier);
            }

to this:

            if (chatAnnounce && !tier.Equals("noPerm"))
            {
                entity.MarkDirty();
                //Message(player, "Placed", entity.GetDisplayName(), tier);
            }

Then when the proper update drops you can change to the proper update. Up to you. 🙂

Not sure is FP changed something but it shows as rWm in the game but in the plugin config it's rWs with Default as 9000 (9000/60= 150 rWm) but it shows in game as 400 ( 400*60=24000) so something is not correct.

Thanks for the heads up, I think they must have changed something. It used to be rWs. I’ll update soon.

after server restart it stop working, plugin loads but just no power come out from test gen

When I have some time I will do my own tests. We use this on our servers and its working fine and for others. If you have a issue, please open a Support Thread in the correct section so I can keep track of issues and troubleshoot with you if needed.

problem fixed, something about IO queue, one of my admin found the solution.

I recommend this plugin to troubleshoot and find issues with IO entities. There are known exploits which players go around to various servers and create loops which severely lag servers and IO devices in general by connecting certain IO entities in a certain way. This plugin will also detect these idiots as well as normal issues.

What are the benefits of having this set True/False ??

"Reset Power Sources to Default Values On Plugin Unload": true,

Also I'm having a conflict with XPerience Plugin. Even though I have XPerience Plugin Max Level set to 0 and essentially no one can level these perks in the plugin to adjust the electricity. Every time this plugin reloads it still resets the electricity. I'd do anything to find a fix for this and even pay for it.

Would love for any help with this matter @ZEODE ❤️❤️❤️

Benefits of that option are, it resets all IO Entities to their vanilla config if you eveer want to remove the plugin and not reload it. If this option is false, the boosted settings will remain on all IO Entities places while the plugin was loaded.

Yes, we use XPerience, and we found a way to stop it interfering, I can't remember how off the top of my head. Ill find out what we did and get back to you. Please can you open this in a support thread so I don't forget

I am not home until the weekend when I can look into it. Please open a support thread in the correct place so I don't miss this. I need to look into some reports of settings not applying properly too, although that seems to be a conflict. I will look at this too.
