heya. same answer applies to you 🙂

normal mode is available in the free version only. if you see normal version the paid plugin is not installed

if you have an auto updater plugin that overwrote the paid version then you need to blacklist RaidableBases in that plugin config and reload that plugin then reinstall tier 3 and this plugin

while you're at it, just blacklist nivex in that config too. there's no reason any of my plugins should ever be auto-updated

if something auto-updates raidable bases it could cause the plugin to be reloaded which would destroy all the progress players have with the bases. that would be devastating

I am uninstalling everything and starting over to see if I can get it fixed. Is there another area to download a deferent version of the paid plugin? It says. 2.7.6 When I load it and I got it from this codefling page.

And I don't think it auto updated. When I logged on no bases were spawning at all. So i came to Codefling to see if any updates had been put out and saw there was one the other day so I updated it. Even after uninstalling everything and reinstalling I am getting the same normal tagged bases spawning. Although I think it is spawning different difficulty bases because the loot counts are different.

unfortunately, everyone rolled back to 2.7.4, so I advise you to start over with this version, description..config..profiles.. this is an exception to the rule, you don’t need to think that this happens often with updates

And that isn't the version we can download from the codefling page? Because when I click that link where it says 2.7.4 like my picture. It downloads a file but the config file says it's a higher version.

2.7.6 is on umod only and is the free version which is why it says normal.

2.7.6 is not available on this site. it was reverted to 2.7.4

try downloading from incognito mode or from another browser, but incognito helped me better..

I think it did start auto updating from UMOD for some reason I black listed it all and reverted everything and it seems to be working now. Thank you.

seems that LockedBoxesImmortal and LockedDoorsImmortal flags in TruePVE were causing despawn issues. typically when there are no more events on the map, and when the server is restarting.

big thanks to @NerdiBertifor finding this issue that I've been unable to fix for months!

TruePVE 2.1.6 has been released to address this

I believe 2.7.7 will be ready to release soon

I just gave it to 3 testers so we'll see how that goes

Hi,

Sometimes there are complete buildings pasted, 
with turrets energized but no weapons in them,
and no locks there, and the crates are empty

They don't have domes and they don't get auto-deleted.
Is there something wrong with my config file?

that is consistent with a plugin like TruePVE blocking step #3, #7 and #9 since these entities are protected while the others are not

order of despawn:
1. loot from storage containers is removed
2. turret weapons and ammo are removed
3. turrets are killed so they don't kill players
4. locks are killed
5. npcs are killed
6. dome is killed
7. elevators are killed
8. map marker is killed
9. base is despawned in a prioritized order with highwalls first

I'm not using the any pve plugin...

I've set the difficulty to spawn 3 bases per difficulty, which means a total of 15 raidable bases.
But about 10 of the bases spawn successfully, and the other 5 get this error
There is no dome, no area hints, turrets are powered up but no weapons, tc and chests are unlocked and there is no loot, it's like a player base that stays there and doesn't corrode or disappear.

at least tell which bases are included in these 10, try setting up spawns of only one level, which were not there in the situation you describe

that's not an error. what you described is called an issue

errors are in the server console and logs.

did you witness the issue occurring in real-time when the problem initially happened, or did you discover the issue later at a different time?

what you are describing is a despawn issue which is very different from a spawn issue

I wasn't on the server to see this happen

I checked the console logs and in the spawn log the bases spawn successfully.
Then they were not raided, but :
1. there is no loot in the chests
2. no dome
3. turrets energized but no weapons
4. no decay
5. no locks
6. no vending machine sign
It's just like a player's base, the only difference is that it doesn't rot

Then I rechecked that the total number of raidable bases on the map hasn't changed, e.g. I set 3 bases for each difficulty and everything is fine.
Is it possible that they were not deleted during the restart?

there are bugs in the plugin that cause this, but fixing TruePVE had fixed one of them

you said your server is PVP so it's still another plugin or a bug causing the issue

I implemented some changes that should help in the next update if it's a bug

I've analyzed the reason, it seems that some raidablebases were not removed when I rebooted the server.
Then when I restarted the server, they didn't work as expected, it was like an empty player base

I have a question @AaronL...when you say you restart...did you restart the Rust Server? Or did you restart the actual system? I ask this because I use VMWare (which is similar to a paid hosting option) and when I hit restart on the Virtual Machine, its kills the program and leaves my map in a wierd state.  If I need to restart my "Server" (not the game server) i first do a proper shutdown of the game server so that my plugins can do their required cleanup before restarting the hosting server.

 

Edit: Hosting Server crashes also cause this issue.
