Is there a way I can make it so every zone the players enter, they can damage each other when not in a team? It works in team but soon as you drop team you can no longer damage each other. And why would it spawn or display PvE zones for me when I have it set not to and to only spawn PvP zones? I also have it only displaying Nightmare bases and not the other difficulties. That's because each base has to be named easy 1, 2, 3, med 1, 2, 3 etc etc correct?

@Dead Nasty

so there's 2 potential issues here

1. if bases are spawning in cliff sides then the base wasn't copied from its center. you can easily fix this by using the center option within Fortify and resaving the base. I actually did this with all of my bases in my tier packages in 1.0.8 so make sure to update with those new copypaste files if you haven't already

2. and seperate issue is that rocks should not spawn on top of any rock unless it is less than 2 meters in height. it was reported by one other user that a base spawned on top of a 9 meter tall rock, but I was not able to observe or reproduce this. I assume thats what you're referring to since you did not specify a cliff, but both are worth mentioning.

This is an example of what happens sometimes, even can take up to half of the bases sometimes as well.

Tc's can spawn inside the terrains and players cant find them as well as npc's spawning inside the rocks shooting out at players.

The center in fortify you said will fix this?

I also have bases set to height 1.0 cause the auto height used to be off, is that something that i can turn back on as well, as sometimes bases are clipped into ground.

Thank you for everything.

What I did was just paste each base file I am using and adjusting the heights little by little until it is level with the ground. Then I would set those values in the config for each base. And some maps you might need to adjust the heights slightly. Doing this allowed me to even turn stab on for the bases and the bases paste fine. it's other issues I am having lol

ye the only problem with that is i change them out all the time from the workshop/fortify and i modified my files to have 10 bases per difficulty, would be a hassle to do it every time.

yeah I spawn 14. And most of the time I don't need to change anything. It is only here and there. I am thorough. it's also the reason I said you might need to.

might try authoheight back out if its not causing anyone else clipping issues. havent touched that part in over a year lol

def not turning on autoheight, pasted a nightmare raidable, half pasted in a rock floating in the air lol

Tried the centering in fortify and it still pastes the bases inside rocks. I dont get it it never did this until a few updates ago for me. is there a better way to check proximity to rocks by chance?

i like having random spawns around the map, id prefer not to do custom spawns or do raid base islands so players have to wait in line.

has this option been removed im unable to find it in the config    "Arena Walls"

Enabled (true)

Extra Stacks (1) - How many times you want walls to stack on top of one another

Use Stone Walls (true) - set false to use wooden walls instead

Use Iced Walls (false) - not advised to use this as it can cause client lag (not a plugin issue)

Use Least Amount Of Walls (true)

Use UFO Walls (false) - Walls spawn horizontally instead of vertically

Radius (25.0)

@Chevelle

config options such as Convert PVP to PVE will override Allow PVP settings in the profiles. disable Convert PVP to PVE and enable Convert PVE to PVP in the config

@Dead Nasty

autoheight is in the profiles. it's helpful, but it isn't needed if the base is copied properly, but it won't fix your issue of the base rotating into terrain when it spawns

if recentering with Fortify doesn't work then you have to copy it using /copy and then use /paste to ensure that it spawns properly. I copy while clipped into the center foundation. it's a bit tricky but just keep trying and you'll figure it out.

@original4d

hi, no this wasn't removed. it's in the profiles, oxide/data/RaidableBases/Profiles/

@Senso-GR

update to 2.8.2

if you still have issues then you can use these commands to figure out why.

rb.config list to ensure all the bases exist

rbe debug to see why bases aren't spawning. do not type it until the grid fully loads. type it a second time to turn it off

But why now? I've had the plugin for 2 years and never had this problem. Copy pasting every base in top of pulling from fortify is too much. Can we just get better proximity checks?  This is super discouraging. I solo everything, make maps, set up plugins, change raid bases. That's just like 2 hours of copy pasting I'm just not gonna do tbh

I have been using this plugin for over 3 years, and I have over 500 bases. Can I only manually copy each one again?

I also have many players who have reported that the position of the base dome is incorrect. I am waiting for nivex to come up with a good solution, otherwise I will have to replicate about 500 bases.  Oh my god

@Craft

the issue is that the dome spawns too soon

but that bug shows which bases are not centered though

@Kobani

if you have this issue then your bases are not centered. update your tier package and install the copypaste files only

all tier packages were centered in 1.0.8

I been had those settings chose. I converted everything to PvP a long time ago but bases still say PvE as well as PvP sometimes. I don't use PvE at all lol. Here's what I asked originally:

So, my dillema is happening eventhough I have it set not to.

I set the config to convert PvE to PvP a while ago. there's two. Convert PvP to PvE and Convert PvE to PvP. I chose PvP lol.

@Chevelle

you have it configured to spawn both PVP and PVE with this setting. it overrides everything.

either set it to 100.0 or to 0.0

"Chance To Randomly Spawn PVP Bases (0 = Ignore Setting)": 0.1,

all of your bases spawn as nightmare because they're in a nightmare profile

"Difficulty (0 = easy, 1 = medium, 2 = hard, 3 = expert, 4 = nightmare)": 4,

difficulties are separated by profile using this setting, not by the name of the copypaste file

So I need separate profiles for each difficulty then right? Like raidbases.json 5 times? One for each difficulty?

yes, separate profiles for each difficulty

ok. The RaidBases.json came from the Profiles Folder in the Raidable Bases data folder. Just want to be sure I am supposed to create 5 of the same file name? Or name them something else? because there was only 2 files in the profile folder: _emptyfile.json and raidbases.json
