Hello! Thank you for visiting my plugin page!

If you are experiencing any issues with this plugin, please open a support ticket! I do not regularly check the discussion page, and support tickets help me keep track of issues so that I can resolve them in future updates.

For suggestions and feature requests I also recommend opening a support ticket as that will give me the most visibility to the request and other people can comment on it as well. Once I am able to, I will respond to the request and let you know if I can add that feature for you.

For all other inquiries and questions, feel free to hit me up at my plugin development discord. If I'm unable to answer your question, then there are some very helpful server owners on there who may be able to offer support.

Thank you for your time!

Simple Status (the performance friendly sequel to Custom Status Framework) is now available and works with Raid Protection v3.4.2!

Would it be possible to raise the Upkeep and Protection buttons a little? so that they are not on top of the xbuildingskins paint the house button

Yup, you can do that in the config actually, modify the "Protection Tabs Offset" value, set to positive value it will go up, negative will go down.

In the config file I have not been able to move these buttons higher, could you tell me which line it comes in in the cs?

You should be able to raise/lower that in the config. Its this line right here:

Change this value to something like 40, reload the plugin, reopen the cupboard and the buttons should now be higher.

I like the idea of the new "Founder Limit" option to limit the number of protected TCs, but currently it's difficult to manage. Could you add the ability for players to choose which TC(s) are protected through some mechanism like the Pause button or something similar? With the limit set to 1, for example, players have been losing track of which TC was the first and not being able to protect a different TC as a result. A method to set (and clear) a specific TC as counting against the limit would be great. Even just a command for a player to clear protection on all owned TCs so that the next one placed would be protected would help.

Hi, I have a question. Is it possible to set permissions for the amount of resources consumed?
For example level.0 TC eats 10 scrap per hour, but if you have permission level.vip the TC will eat 5 scrap per hour. Is that possible?
Thank you, im thinking of buying this.

Hello!

I have two questions. Is it not possible to do it as it used to work before, that it was enough to put the scrap into the TC and it would always pick up as much as needed from there? I only use the Cost per damage protected part and I would prefer if it showed the amount of scrap instead of the time.

Thank you very much if you can help with this! 🙂

before i buy it, is there a possibility to say: offline protection 100% and costs nothing and is always active when you are offline, but in addition the online protection should cost. if no please add that would encourage me to buy 😛

i think something is wrong with the calcs about scrap costs. When u select "clear" option, give less scrap than the protection left. If u put scrap and "clear" and put again and "clear" u lost all the scrap

Looks like Raid Protection is not working with new Retro TC. This may be due to it being a new ItemID

Dupe. Using the mouse x7... It's good that the players told us... Disabled the plugin... The whole economy was ruined.. Great...

Another problem is less global. Stacks!

Failed to run a 1.00 timer in 'RaidProtection v3.4.4' (NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object) at Oxide.Plugins.RaidProtection+ProtectedCupboardManager.Transfer (Oxide.Plugins.RaidProtection+ProtectedEntity oldTc, BaseEntity newEntity) [0x00000] in :0 at Oxide.Plugins.RaidProtection+<>c__DisplayClass131_0.b__1 () [0x00000] in :0 at Oxide.Core.Libraries.Timer+TimerInstance.FireCallback () [0x00018] in :0

@Mr01sam Feature Request... Possible to add a configurable option to allow players to reset offline raid protection?

Example:
100% offline raid protection, set for 48 hours. If player(s) do not login within 48 hours there base becomes raidable even if offline. However, if someone logs in and plays for <set time> then the 48 hour raid protection resets and starts over. Keeping them safe while they're offline.

The set time could be playtime must be => 2 hours (7200 seconds) or something like that... can be reset by any TC owner / clan (team) member.
I'm thinking this would be a great feature, and ensures someone is always logging in and checking on base, maintaining it to ensure raid protection remains in-tact, and resets. 🙂

Maybe I'm misreading your request but the max protection time setting basically does this, doesn't it? If you set a limit of 48 hours, someone with TC access will be forced to log in and add scrap within that timeframe in order to keep offline protection active.

Yes & No ... I used to charge scrap to enable protection, now offline protection is just enabled for free ... after set # of minutes have passed when user logs out. However that protection expires within 48 hours, so abandoned bases can still be raided. However if user logs in again within 48 hours, it resets the timer from the looks of it... but players could literally login, then out again and it would reset time... I would like to enforce set # of minutes required playtime in order to reset the 48 hour offline protection. So instead of logging in and out, player(s) would be required to at least be online for <??> number of seconds / minutes... in my case I'd enforce 1 hour playtime in order to reset the 48 hour offline protection.

@Mr01samWould it be possible to separate stone, wood, ice external walls, from being included in building protection?
Right now they appear to fall under building protection and can't be destroyed... or, alternatively add an area in the config where admins can add an exclusion list of prefabs they don't want to players to protect. Then people can add things like windmills, or whatever they want ... as those too also seem to fall under building protection as they're still protected even if electrical is set to false.

Hmm yes, it was the intention that those would be separate from other building blocks. I can look into it.

Thank you.
Would it also be possible to add a minimum number of minutes a player must play in order to renew his/her raid protection if the "Max Protection Time (hours) is being used. IE. Max protection time 48 hours, but if player(s) log in to renew his 48hr protection he must play minimum 1 hour to renew. Not just login, then log out.

I haven't tried it myself but I believe so, I know a lot of people that are running NPC raiding plugins with raid protection.

In the raid protection config, you can change which entities buildings are protected from. There is a setting for NPCs. So you can choose whether or not you want buildings to be protected from NPC raids.

I am having issues setting up protection on my server.  I would like the bases to be 100% covered free of charge online and offline until all owners have been offline for 48 hours.  Below is what I have set but without at least something in one of the cost fields the 48 hour max protect will never show up.  Am I setting somethig wrong?

"Protection levels": [
      {
        "Rank": 1,
        "Online protection percentage (0-100)": 100.0,
        "Offline protection percentage (0-100)": 100.0,
"Hourly cost per authorized player": 0.0,
        "Hourly cost per floor": 0.0,
        "Hourly base cost": 0.0,
        "Cost per damage protected": 0.0,
        "Max protection time (hours)": 48,
"Delay for offline protection (seconds)": 5,
"Delay after taking damage (seconds)": 10,
"Damage resets timer when owner is offline": true,
        "Allow tugboat protection": true,
        "Founder Limit": null

So unfortunately you cannot currently have "free" protection and also have a protection time limit.

The protection time limit actually just limits the amount of balance that can be loaded in the toolcupboard, which is why if you set all the costs to 0, the 48 hours won't work.

I think the best thing you can do is set the cost to be something really cheap. You could also try asking the question in my plugin discord, there might be other server owners who wanted to do something similar, and maybe they have a solution.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
