  • If you want to know what prefab some entity is using, I suggest you to use Entity Owner plugin. Connect to your server, stand in the front of any entity you want to get prefab name for and use /prod command.
  • If you want to get a full list of all supported prefabs into log file - use limitentities.list console command

Could you create categories like "Plant Box" to encompass all types of plant boxes? Facepunch has now started creating identical items like plant boxes with different prefabs, and I limit plant boxes, but this new prefab counts separately. Or perhaps create categories for us to categorize prefabs.

For example, I create the category "Lights" and put the Lights prefabs in it, limiting it to only 10. Each type of Light placed that belongs to that category would count 1 less toward the limit of how many can be placed.

Ex

 "Light": {
        "Limit Total Entity": 100,
        "Limits Entities": {            
          "assets/prefabs/deployable/ceiling light/ceilinglight.deployed.prefab",
          "assets/prefabs/misc/permstore/industriallight/industrial.wall.lamp.deployed.prefab",

The grouping system cannot be disabled, I want to disable the grouping since I have a different scenario on my server.
even if I remove the entities list from the group it always says that I have to remove one of them from the config.

Is there a way to show item names instead of prefab name?
planter.large.deployed would show as Large Planter Box instead for example.
Tried with translation api but didnt make it work.
Possible to add this in config so i can set the name of it myself?

@Hawkhill Rust Translation API v1.1.0 doesn't require any configuration, it should work out of the box.

If you prefer, you can create separate group for each entity and name it you want.

Does this works with the Clans plugin? Or is there a functionality to limit the structures per team? Thanks!

Hi @MON@H thanks for reply. Mevent Clans plugin has the option to automatically create an original Rust team when creating a clan. Is this plugin compatible with the original Rust teams?

is there an action that would show an admin the amount of limits that the player in question has available or left?

@Nstahg8r yes. Actually when admin call command (/limits by default) with player name it will show limits for that player. I will edit description later

it seems I cannot limit Chippy Arcade Machines.

Hello. What is the setting "GameTip notifications" for? I enabled it but I do not see anything except chat messages from "Enable notifications in chat". Is this some other plugin?

@ViktorvillI will expand the supported prefabs list in the next update. I'm currently hunting for a rare NRE I encountered. Once I figure it out, I'll push the update to the public.

I know it is complicated but Could you also add an option specifying which entities can be utilized by teams or clans and limit clan placements?
I've limited the planter box placement and more for VIPs. However, some individuals are exploiting this system by employing their Smurf accounts to join clans, place planters, and then leave, the clan member limit is 3. Despite the limit, they're still able to place as many planters as they desire and utilize them, as the planters are solely protected by the TC range, along with both the planter defender and prevent looting plugin.

@Ping Chun Chang It's not complicated at all, it just doesn't make sense. A player can easily bypass team/clan/friend restrictions by simply leaving the team/clan/friends and then rejoining.
