Custom Ore 1.0.8

i am interested in this  plugin, but not sure what these custom ores actually do compared to regular ores? i did read the description but not sure how this would work on a lightly modded server.

That’s up to your imagination, I just provide a way to add new items into the game that have x output. 
 

You can create new economy items, you can create components to craft other things. Just depends what you can come up with using this as a framework to get you there.

Does anyone know the web URLs for the images?  Some of the plugins  i am adding the custom ore to is requiring the URL for the image to show.

you would have to get it via the skinid, search up another skin , and replace the skinid in that url with the skin id of one of these. 

Then copy the url, make take some playing with but thats a workaround

For gather Yield like i did for skill tree? I checked the page for api I don't see api for that like skill tree has.

I see that, I don't see a way to get its percentage and add that to the total yield like ST does. 

Can't guarantee it idk much about that plugin, skill tree I ran for years on my server so I'm pretty familiar with it.

After checking the config here, honestly, this is a solid plugin. I’m genuinely interested in it. I do have a suggestion though, it would be awesome to add more customization options for server owners.

Personally, I’m thinking about something similar to how Conan Exiles handles furnaces. Like, having:
- Custom fuels using specific items (with skinIDs) required to smelt certain types of ores.
- Different furnace types that unlock different recipes or have different requirements.
- Maybe even some setups where a specific entity needs to be placed, or you can call a special UI via a command.

I get that some of these functions could open up potential exploit risks, like item shortname issues or skin stacking bugs that we’ve seen before in some plugins, or even vanilla stuff like the industrial crafter. But honestly, I believe the devs have already put a lot of thought into preventing that, especially considering how well this plugin is already designed.
