I must say, I would love a deployable a lot more, I just know how much some players would struggle with it if its the only option for setting it up lmao

That way you're already guaranteed to be auth'ed on build priv (since you have TC access), and cant use the zones to grief. If it was tied to a deployable, it might get confusing and less fluent for some players (some players dont understand anything we try to add). If it worked via CUI button, it would be simple to add functionality for costs to set the zone (which will stop spam) with plugins like economics, server rewards, and scrap. Then you could possibly even add an invert option to the plugin where players pay to protect their base instead of pay to make it raidable (which i know exists itself in some iffy plugins, but would fit better in this one).

If the PVP/Raid zone was the size of the TC radius, it wouldn't be big enough for PVP or work on large multi-TC builds. If the zone allows you to raid structures besides the one with a raid zone set, people will use it to raid PVE bases that shouldn't be raidable. If the zone prevents you from raiding structures besides the main TC, then multi TC builds will be more or less unraidable.

There would probably have to be a way link TCs or add them to a list for the raid zone

just wanted to share some things to consider and hopefully save some time

@Goblox does this support custom helis and custom bradleys? or just vanilla? i have custom heli tiers (from dana), bradley tiers and custom cargo (from dana) and i was wondering if this works with those plug ins?

I believe it's tied to the prefab name so I expect heli will work. I don't actually create zones for bradley at the moment because it always patrols in a monument, but I'm sure not everyone uses monumnent zones so, I'll see about adding it next week.

so the bradleys i am referring to are the ones you can buy, not the monument bradleys. The ones for monuments is fine as dynamic pvp and zone manager can take care of it but the buyable ones and the ones on the road would be perfect to have agile zones take care of it

yeah but they were saying that the plugin should work with them because it doesnt discriminate what is spawning the bradley or heli (since it uses the prefab name to attach the zone to it basically like Goblox said)

I dont have this plugin but dynamicPVP works with any helis, supply crates, or bradleys I spawn and I'd assume this plugin would too but I can't say for certain since I haven't bought it yet

yep, goblex said it should work with helis but is not sure with bradley. I just wanna make sure i can cover all heli/bradley events custom or default as I plan to implement custom heli teirs and bradley tiers to be buyable. Thank you for the added info my friend

ohh i see agile zones doesnt have bradley functionality yet, yeah that would be great with this next update having bradley on roads because now they wont be locked to a monument on vanilla haha i mistakenly assumed this plugin already had Bradley zones since DynPVP does

I would be happy if we could set the ability to create PvP zones for TC based on different permissions.

 

For example, it would be great if players with the PvE permission in TC couldn't create PvP zones.

Really happy with this plugin so far. My server defaults to PVE, with PVP enabled around monuments. AgileZones adds additional functionality for dynamically creating PVP zones around TCs when placed.

 

One suggestion/request is an improvement to the notifications for entering/exiting PVP zones. It can get a bit confusing when quickly entering/exiting especially when bases are close together or have multiple TCs.

In the meantime I'm using the "Zone PVx Info" plugin to show a GUI element to indicate whether a player is within a PVP zone or not. Sadly this doesn't work with AgileZones because it relies on the name of the zone including "pvp" or "pve" in the name. This isn't the fault of AgileZones at all, but I'm wondering if there's a way to modify the name of zones created by AgileZones to include "pvp" so that it works with this other plugin?

 

Edit: Looking a little deeper into this and it looks like TC zones created by AgileZones are named "ToolCupboard". Perhaps just adding a config option for zone names would be a good addition?

Is it possible to turn off TC zones but keep everything else - because as of right now it doesn't work. I have it config to not add a zone around TCs yet one is still possible and players are still able to raid player bases.

Can we get notifications for players to let them know if they try to raid a base that a base is still "protected" or still within a certain timeframe and refunded their boom back. Or at least a command to check to see if a base is raidable.

There's a flaw with this when using it with TruePVE - players remove auth on TC rendering it completely useless as other players aren't able to damage bases - then they gain TC auth causing the timer to restart. 

Player can simply remove auth on TC and render this completely useless.

I have not been able to reproduce a TC Auth exploit. Authorizations don't drive AgileZones' TC handling. The only way to remove a zone around a TC is to destroy the TC and wait out the timer.

I'm afraid I didn't quote you but, it's the response right after your question. If I'm honest, I haven't used Dynamic PVP. It looks like it doesn't handle Tool Cupboards... if not, then that would be the USP. As far as I could tell, nothing existed to automatically manage zones around bases when I started working on the plugin. And yeah, I suppose the price is still approximately what you'd spend on a meal at McDonalds for one.

Sorry I wasn't working on this for a while. I had a wedding the day you posted this and then it was baby stuff leading up to a 2 month hospital stay for mother and eventually child.

Yeah, I'm pretty frustrated with the zone notifications. It's a limitation of ZoneManager. I'm going to try to contact k1lly0u and see if he's open to getting a change or two into the release.

As far as the naming issue, well... it's a more than a little late but, sure. I'll add a route to append an optional prefix to zone names.

I tried for myself just to be sure something unexpected wasn't happening but I can't reproduce this behavior. Oxide does have event hooks for Cupboard authorize and clearing cupboard auths, but AgileZones does not use them and has no way of knowing when someone auths or clears the auth list. The only way to get AgileZones to start working to remove a TC zone is to destroy the TC. Maybe there is some other exploit -- although I did test around obvious stuff like placing a TC, destroying it, and placing another before the first delay had completed --  but I don't think anyone is simply clearing auths to prevent a zone from being created. I don't see a way for it to happen in the code, and I can't make it happen in game. Please re-test.

Finally, a plugin that makes absolute SENSE!

I haven't bought it yet because I don't currently have a server.
But with this, it would be possible, wouldn't it?
PVE on the whole island and PVP at certain monuments and around player bases?

And do you have to have the other PVE plugins?
Can't you use this plugin without all these PVE plugins?
I don't want domes in any zone

Maybe we can do a merger? ZoneManage and AgileZones

I installed it and it works great.
The only annoying thing is that when I enter or leave my base, the message PVE - PVP appears
