What is new?

This package lets you choose between two options with the new update.
🏘️Option 1:
- Only certain levels of bases include turret protection; generally, it is not present in most Easy and Medium bases.

🏘️Option 2:
- Almost 99% of the bases definitely include turret protection.

Two New Options for Loot Tables:
🗡️"Vanilla" Base_Loot Tables: A classic setup for a traditional experience. (Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert, and Nightmare)
🗡️"Enhanced" Base_Loot Tables: Optimized for 2x, 3x, 5x, and higher servers, with fewer junk items. (Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert, and Nightmare)

Some of the boxes have a weird number of slots. Where in the config would I go to fix this?

Hello,
there might be a setting in your custom configuration that is triggering the extra slot issue.

The optional configuration we provide and have tested does not have such a slot problem. I’ve conducted a test regarding this, and I’m sharing a screenshot here. You can either use the optional configurations we provide or compare the settings in your current configuration with our optional configurations to identify which setting is causing the extra slot issue.

If you are using our configurations, back up the files in the config-data-lang folders, delete them, and install the latest version from scratch.

Additionally, I recommend checking if there is an external plugin on the server that could be affecting this.

Suggestion: Make it more clear on the description page that this just contains Base Loot loot tables. I bought this thinking it had all loot tables.

Question: Do you intend on adding Difficulty Loot loot tables in the future? I see you include the files but they are empty, so I was just curious.

Hello, there are currently base loot tables with 5 different difficulty levels, and for now, this is sufficient. Our users and players are quite satisfied. I haven’t tested how the other loot tiers work with the current loot tables yet, but it might be possible to add them in the future.

Wait so do you only use the base loot tables on your servers? You don't use the combo of base and difficulty loot?

Yes, we are not currently using difficulty loot. We are using five different tiers from easy base_loot to nightmare base_loot. It is working quite stably.

Isn't the Base Loot all guaranteed though? And the Difficulty Loot random/variable?

I thought that is why we were using both. We guarantee some boom, scrap, and resources in the Base Loot. But all of the other loot is in the Difficulty Loot so it is random and variable.

As you mentioned, Base Loot ensures the basics like resources and some guaranteed loot, while Difficulty Loot offers more random and variable rewards. Creating the Base Loot setup took a significant amount of our time, but we might also consider working on Difficulty Loot and weekly loot systems in the future. If we do, they will be included in the package, and even if the price increases, you will still benefit from it without any additional cost. Feel free to reach out if you need any assistance in the meantime. 😊

Loot Priority

Loot is pulled from all datafiles within the oxide/data/RaidableBases/ folder with the exception of the Profiles folder which is used to configure bases.

oxide/data/RaidableBases/Base Loot - If a loot table exists in this folder with the same name as a profile then all of the bases in that profile will use this loot table. If you want items in this loot table to always spawn then you must enable Always Spawn Base Loot Table in the respective profile.

oxide/data/RaidableBases/Difficulty Loot - Items will be chosen from these files based on the difficulty of each profile.

If Use Day Of Week Loot is enabled then it will choose the loot table for that specific day. Otherwise, it will pick from Default_Loot.json. This is the default list, and is only used when all other loot tables do not have a sufficient amount of loot to spawn based on the Amount Of Items To Spawn setting.

It looks like you have "Always Spawn Base Loot Table" enabled in the profiles, so I believe that everything in Base Loot will spawn every time for every raid for that difficulty. So there really isn't any RNG or variability in the loot that way.

You're welcome, I understand you. In the base_loot, items are already dropped based on probability; the same items don’t always appear. For example, we adjusted the rates there.

In the image, the chance of the 16x scope dropping is around 10%, and the same goes for the 8x. The rifle_ak has a drop rate of about 20%. There are also different items there.

For example, the Ice AK drops with a 0.5% chance. However, this is, of course, influenced by the "Amount Of Items To Spawn": 90. If you change this value to, for instance, 150, the drop probabilities increase.

The drop chance increases because, for example, in the easy base loot table, there are 400 items. From this pool, the system must pick 90 items based on probabilities, attempting to randomly drop them according to these rates. However, if the number is set to 150 instead of 90, the likelihood of lower-probability items spawning in the crates increases.

So, when adjusting the base loot, the chance of getting a 16x scope from an easy base loot is 0.05%, while, for example, the chance of getting it from a pro building is around 10%. This made a lot of sense to me, so I set it up that way.

Np. The loot table adjustments are quite complex and time-consuming, but I plan to improve them further each day. They are already integrated into our 22 servers and will get better over time based on player feedback. I will release every update to ensure you can benefit from it as well. I hope it helps you.

Hello, this might be one of the issues caused by the force wipe. I'm currently putting in a lot of effort to update the bases, and in the coming days, I will release a new update aimed at fixing certain bugs.

Still, make sure to open the files in oxide/data/RaidableBases/Profiles and verify that the following setting is set to -1, as this ensures proper base spawning, which also fixes the crate issues:

"Force All Bases To Spawn At Height Level (0 = Water)": -1.0,

Then, restart the plugin by running the following command in RCON:

o.reload RaidableBases

I bought the 'Raidable Bases (Tier 3 Package)' from the plugin creator. Is this package compatible with it, or do I have to choose between them?

You can use them together. Just have to add the bases like this post and copy in the loot table.
