Great to hear its working! Just as a fyi, i didnt modify anything on EarlyQ to make it support Carbon, instead Carbon fixed the way its loading the HarmonyMods If you dont need anything else can I close the ticket?
-
Did you get it working ?
-
harmony.load should not be used with EarlyQ ever, because the mod only works when the server starts up (its auto loaded on startup), after its up, it auto disables itself. As for the folder, from what i know I think the harmony folder will be moved from carbon/harmony to <root>/HarmonyMods. Also im pretty sure if you change the version from production to the newest one, you need to make a full reinstall of the server since Carbon changed the way Rust files are modified and is not compatible by default, simply updating carbon would not work i think. So probably try a fresh install of Carbon and see if that works
-
Okay i just confirmed with Raul that the HarmonyMods fix is not on Carbon's production build, and you are probably on that, it will come to prod around 29th of this month, if you dont want to wait, you can download this build (https://github.com/CarbonCommunity/Carbon/releases/tag/rustbeta_release_build) which will be the same one that will be released onto production
-
The issue with /cpanel was because the older versions of Carbon handled HarmonyMods incorrectly, this can easily tell you if earlyq is working or not, if the command doesnt exist, its not working
-
Hey, since Carbon only recently made full compatibility with HarmonyMods can you make sure you are running on the latest version of carbon (if production build doesnt work, try the edge build)

Can you record a vid of your test? I am trying latest v2.0.2 currently with oxide and everything works fine on my end

Ah i found the issue, i missclicked a condition in the config reading logic, as a hot fix either create the config file with the default messages you can find in the main page of the mod or add any single command line switch like: +earlyq.loading_icon Server Will be fixed in the next version
-
wdym, you can still use the same config scheme as before, if you use the cmd line args you continue to use those and if you dont it will just use the default messages
-
Hello, due to the need to support both command line args and config file, the config file needs to be generated manually by the user

Okay, it seems that the update I was talking about (with the new joining sequence) is not this update. I fixed it for this update quickly (when I had the time to work on earlyq atleast). You can download the new version -

I will try to update it asap, but I cannot guarantee it will be done before force wipe so i suggest removing it until an update for earlyq is available. This update will break A LOT of earlyq's code since they will be changing the joining sequence and earlyq will need to be redesigned for that -
