Changed Status from Pending to Not a Bug
-
Hi there, No problem. Even tho I'am trying the make the UI as intuitive as possible, it always needs some knowledge. There are 2 tabs in the UI, players and groups. In the players tab you can click the small "two people" symbol on the right side of each players button. It then shows all groups and the player can be added or removed from all the groups. If you want to manage it the other way round, you may go with the groups tab and also click that "two people" symbol on the right of each group. Then it shows all players and you can add or remove them from that group. In general these small buttons on the right actually do have a clickable purpose. Note that there are different permissions for all available actions, even tho not required if you are server admin anyways. Hope I could help. Thanks for using GPerms and Marry Christmas if appropriate. Best regards ZockiRR

Hi again, I am back and just tried to reproduce the issue, but wasn't able to do so. Did you double check you are using latest Rust, Carbon and GPlugins Version? Or did you notice any errors or strange messages in the logs?

Hi there, I noticed similar behavior some time ago, but it got fixed short after. I am on a short vacation currently, but I will have a look when I am able to again. Thanks for using GPlugins and also for the report! Best regards, ZockiRR

Hi, again thanks for the info. I pushed a hotfix, which I hope will do for now. Guess there are some more things to do in the future for GPlugins on carbon, I just hope they are already done changing the plugin loading system Greetings ZockiRR

Hi there, this is something which, in my opinion, is in the responsibility of the modding framework. I know that the carbon team is already working on SQL support for the permission system and the oxide team is planning to rework the internals of the same. I don't think it's worth to inflate the scope of GPerms for something that is already in the pipeline, but I will ensure that GPerms works with the changes to come. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. Best regards ZockiRR

Hi again, I tried to split the permissions even further and decided to disable the checkboxes/buttons where needed. I hope this fits your needs and you don't require that the group tab is completly invisible? Update wil arrive shortly. Best regards -

Okay, indeed very odd, but in this case I will close the support request for now. If anything else comes up feel free to open a new one.

Hi there, first of all thank you for your trust and your purchase! The behaviour you are descriping sounds very strange, this is nothing my plugin explicitly does. The plugin iteself is just triggering the internal unload functionality which oxide provides, so technically does the same as oxide.unload in the console. The only additional thing the plugin does, is to remember the unloaded plugin. If I understand you correctly this is only happening for Skin Controller and directly on unload via the plugin, so no server restart involved? And just to be sure, this is reproducible and not a strange "once in a lifetime" thing right? I have no other reports like that, but i will try to search the code and see if I can get a clue, why this happens. Best regards ZockiRR
