The multiplier override only works for stack sizes larger than 1. I would suggest you to use category multipliers instead and leave the multiplier for weapons at 1.

Calling hook CanCombineDroppedItem resulted in a conflict

This is not a mistake since the CanCombineDroppedItem hook is a boolean hook. Returning false instead of true will lead to different behavior. I contacted the developer of BradleyDrops. Hopefully this issue can be resolved soon. -

If you are experiencing unusual hook times, please uncomment the first line in the plugin file so it looks like this. #define HOOKTIME_DEBUG Then after the plugin has been running for a few hours (longer is better) run l.hooktime in the console and send me the output. This allows me to identify the hooks that need more optimization

What loot config are you trying to multiply? Please add the line #define DEBUG at the top of the plugin file. Then try to mulitply again and send me the console output

You can do that, just enable the UnlockGatherMultiplier flag. It is all documented in the description

Please ask the developer of bradley drops to unsubscribe from stacking hooks when loottable is detected. -
