I was stacking planters and on one I hot the mouse button faster and heard 2 placement sounds.. Testing, I can stack as many as I want in the same spot., it is only stopped by the max amount in the config.

So for me,  I can have all 10 in a spot where there's the base one and 9 more are right above it. But it shows 2.

This is a bug that occurs if you press the item stack button too quickly.
It will be fixed.

thank you! last question, for those dlc boxes, does it support stacking the wood box on top of the medical box, for example? 

Not at the moment. All the DLC pack boxes are different items, not just boxes with skins.
DLC boxes can currently only be stacked on top of each other.
I'm working on an update to allow them to be stacked on top of regular boxes as well.

Just ran test on our test server with no other plugins besides stackeverything, with latest version of rust server and oxide, the top planter won't receive water until after a server restart
