Can we get an option to get the box on the front wheels?

That wouldn't be very aerodynamic and would obstruct the pilot's view

I'll experiment with adding a 3rd container as a 2nd stash up there, just don't want to break aesthetics and/or have it clip through the player model. If it works out well, will release it in an update.

New version updated to allow up to 4 storage containers.

If you combine this plugin with Vehicle License from umod, the storage box/stashes, fuel storage, and mounting (all seats or pilot seat) can be restricted to owner and team by the vehicle license attached either through buying the mini from the plugin shop or if configured for it through the Air Wolf vendor as well.  That is how I use it on my PvE server.

If I lock the heli with a code lock, are the boxes also safe?

I don't believe that would work.  The best way to secure the boxes is by combining with Vehicle License plugin and setting the config for Vehicle License to secure the vehicle and its fuel/storage to the license holder and their team.

When is it available for purchase again?

That would be a question for Death, it was never my intention for it to not be available here.  It is available on my rust server tebex store in the meantime, or there is a newer free alternative plugin "Vehicle Storage" by WhiteThunder on umod that includes storage for most if not all vehicles.  PM me if you would like my store url.

Plugin "Vehicle Storage" from WhiteThunder does not work properly. If I spawn a mini and unload this mod, the Scrapheli can no longer be controlled and has to be spawned again. I have already written WhiteThunder on Umod but no reaction.

Does it work with the Spawn Mini plugin on uMod or just the trader at Bandit Camp?
Possible to skin the wooden box with spraycan / adding workshop id in config?

As I mentioned before, it was never my intention for it to not be available here.  I do have it available on my tebex store, which you may PM me for the url if  you want. 

It does not use permissions, it adds the configured allotment of storage containers to all minicopters that are spawned.  Should work with the spawn mini plugin but I have not used or tested it so can't confirm, but it does work with spawned in minis from purchasing at bandit, or by command from vehicle license plugin, any admin spawned or population spawned minis would all get the storage container(s).

I did experiment with skinning before initial release, but had other issues come up with the containers being invisible, so the skin id option was removed at that time.  I have been considering experimenting with it again though as I believe the issue was related to the boxes I was using initially. so it may be an option later.

Ok... if you intend to update the plugin so the the different boxes can be activated with different permissions, im interested to buy.
Im running a skilltree based pve server.
Would be awesome to add this into the skilltree, so players need to unlock it with skillpoints....

For those experiencing the "Error while compiling MinicopterStorage: Der Typ- oder Namespacename "MiniCopter" wurde nicht gefunden (möglicherweise fehlt eine using-Direktive oder ein Assemblyverweis)." error, here is the solution!

Open the plugin and replace all "MiniCopter" with "Minicopter" and "RestoreMiniCopter" with "RestoreMinicopter". After that, the plugin should function properly again!

I am curious if the box can be looted if the mini crashes in a safe zone such as Outpost or Bandit. I have been using a similar (free) plugin that aadds storage but when a player crashes the heli they are unable to loot the box to recover their goods. Happy to pay for this if this can be confirmed.
