They can toggle them off, but they will come back on.  I did not add any permissions (other than admin) to keep the overhead light for servers (usually PvE) that have many lights.  There are plugins that have fine-grained player level control: https://umod.org/plugins/everlight https://umod.org/plugins/powerless-electronics https://umod.org/plugins/night-lantern

Hopefully one of them will meet your needs.

Note that if it is electronic and in a circuit it is not processed, to avoid messing up people that enjoy playing with electronics.

I was wonder what is not on in a caboose, I spawned one and all the lights etc. were on:

I was thinking about the outside. But I guess as it's controlled by a switch it might not be possible.

Any light with an attached item (in this case switch) I leave alone to avoid messing up any player's electrical circuits. I only power up items that are not connected to anything.

Working on a fix for elevators, I use better elevators as well, so did not notice they split into two entities.  Make sure you have   "Player Can Toggle non-lights (true/false)": false, or players will not have a good time with Electric furnace.  I will look to fix that as well.

Can this turn off all player-deployed lights at a given time at night (ingame time), unless the player is online?
I get huge bases with hectic lights lagging players FPS. In itself I don't mind that, but I do mind if the player build it and is not online when this happens, so I'd like to disable lights in offline player's bases.

When I use /lights on , it turns on but doesn't do anything, you also can't turn it on / off. Thank you for checking this out!

Your config is out of date, are you running the version that supports electric furnaces? 2.0.32

Yes I am running 2.0.32. Both our configs have the same things in it too so I am not entirely sure what's wrong.

You are many versions behind. I tested my config on my test server, and it did insta-smelt.  Please upgrade to the latest version.

I see what has happened. When I click download, it downloads the older version instead of the new one that you have just posted.

Mixing tables do not activate when set to "n" or anything else.
As well when: lights on mixingtable is toggled, the smelt time goes up to 999999 and do not produce mats.
Any help would be appreciated. I as well tried the feature: "Protect Mixing Tables (true/false)":  both with no success.

Toggle the mixing table off and on to produce items.  If it is set to "i" it will not alter their behaviour.  "n" will turn them on at night.  I have not seen this issue on my server. Do you have any other plugin that alters crafting?

I do. I will disable them one by one and see which one is stalling the mixing table from turning on at night. Thanks for the reply 🙂 Will let you know the outcome.

Sir, is it possible that the admin can place lights somewhere like in the town, and only those lights are turned on? Because with this plugin all players lights are turning on right ?

Correct, to make it as efficient as I could for servers with thousands of lights (highly modded PVE) there are no permissions to check per object.  If you only want specific people to turn on lights, then Night Lanterns and many other mods can do it per person. If they are always on in the settings, you could place them, run the plugin, turn on the lights, then remove the plugin.  The light will stay on even if the plugin is gone, as it alters the visual settings of the object.  Only if toggled off will they go off.

On my server, they did not come on when placed, but did come on when checked. I will work to correct them to turn on when placed... Okay, I have fixed it so weapon racks light on when placed (based on config).  But had no issues with the timer turning them on.  I will need your configuration to debug this please.
