Feel free to try it out on a test server here:

Crate chance is set to 100% in config, and all crate types with same weight for easier testing.

When you spawn give yourself a metal detector from F1 item tab, and start detecting.

Note: noclip and god commands are enabled

Added crates/barrels (Foodbox, Vehicle Parts Crate, Tier 2 Components Crate, Tier 3 Components Crate, Underwater Labs Normal Crate 1, Underwater Labs Normal Crate 2, Yellow Loot Barrel, Blue Loot Barrel, Oil Barrel, Supply Drop, Giftbox, Present Drop)
Config - Added "Locked crate hack seconds" (default = 60)
Config - Added "Dug up crate despawn in seconds" (default = 900)
Config - Added "Log dug up crates in console" (default = false)
Added a sound effect on crate spawn
Crate position changes to spawn slightly farther from player
