there is no safe way for me to do this given other bases can be in the bubble.

I can remove any entities they deploy within the events base, but not outside of it because there's no elegant way to determine if another base built that or if a raider did.

I can do it for those who are actively participating in the event, but then it will miss all entities deployed before they become an active participant. so that wont work either

Deployable Nature can hook OnAbandonedBaseEnded to remove the entities safely when the event ends

Does this plugin require TruePvE? I would like to use this on a server where we are not using TruePvE. The only thing that is preventing people from raiding is the rules and rule enforcement. Also when people log off they get offline protection, but if they have not been on for 3 days, we and to make their base a raidable target. This plugin sounds like its the one, but only if we can use it without TruePvE.

I was about to ask same question.
My server is full of legacy wood shelters because they know that is not possible to raid it.

It would be nice to add as a abandoned base like the tugboat

Map markers were changed by Facepunch and don't show the text on hovering anymore. you have to click the map marker to see the text, and it's clipped partially.

we're asking Facepunch about this to see if they can fix it

quick questions i need clarification on.

if a user has 2 bases but stops using 1 of the bases, will it become converted to be raided or does it check if player comes online and protects both?

if a base gets converted to a raid, but say no one is online or doesnt raid it how long will it stay in this ready to raid state before it automatically disappears?

bases are not protected by this plugin. it is protected by TruePVE. damage is allowed when a base is converted after inactivity.

no base will become inactive if the player/owners are online. it does not matter if they use one base but not the others. if they're active then none of their bases will convert.

Despawn Timer is 30 minutes by default, and this time will start when the base converts after becoming inactive. players must have a permission from this setting, and the plugin will convert bases after the configured inactive time.

Run Every X Seconds is how often the plugin will check for inactive bases. I recommend it set to 3600 so that inactive bases are checked hourly.

Good morning, quick question for you I installed Abandoned Bases, but I didn't make the right configuration I think I want, after example, 8 days the base becomes returnable but instead it disappears. anyone has the right config thanks in advance

heya. default has basic and veteran. it just needs one permission.

I'd have to see your full config too if you can attach the file

its configured, by default, to despawn the base after 30 minutes using the Despawn Timer setting

    "Despawn Timer": 1800.0,

bases that don't meet minimum requirements are destroyed immediately

    "Foundations Required": 4,
    "Walls Required": 3,

if you don't want bases to despawn after Despawn Timer expires then you can enable this option

    "Do Not Destroy Base When Despawn Timer Expires": false,

the same option exists for bases that players manually convert using the /sar command
    "Do Not Destroy Manually Converted Base When Despawn Timer Expires": false,

Just curios of a couple things:  I have it set so twig is enabled but twig bases still down show up or say twig is not able to be raided, and second is there a way to have it so 0 foundations and 1 wall setting work in the config?

I have the better no stability plugin and when bases are raidable it says "doesnt meet requirements 0/0 foundations and #/1 walls.

heya,

Include Twig Structures setting is for counting Foundations Required and Walls Required
it isn't for converting bases which are made out of twig, and it isn't for use with the abandonedbases.attack permission. I can make it work with all 3 but it will be very annoying for anyone attacking twig

the foundation limit cannot be set to 0. I can remove the limit, but why?

Any way to add a message to players saying they have a timer etc or make it so players with timers can't even enter the bubble? Players never realize there is a timer/cool down and complain they do no damage to bases they have cool downs on.

heya. I can add a message, and no, you can't eject from the bubble when they enter because other bases that have nothing to do with an event can be inside of the bubble too.

Our players absolutely love this plugin, but they love it a little too much and are fighting over "so-and-so" taking all the bases. Are you able to add a cooldown feature so a player cannot do another abandoned base event for x minutes after completing one similar to the cooldown feature on your raidable bases plugin?

heya, the latest version has this built in by default, Cooldown Between Events. its bugged and fixed in next update
