Hey, I understand what you mean and I appreciate you pointing it out. I have tested RustVitals on my own live server with a lot of plugins running, and it has been running fine on my end. I also have not had many other reports like this, so I want to look into your case more carefully instead of assuming it is normal behavior. There may be something specific with the export process, saved report history, server size, entity count, or another plugin interaction causing it to hold more memory than it should. I’m going to review the caching/report system and see if I can reduce memory usage further. If possible, please send me your entity count, player count, and whether the dashboard/export/report was being used often during that 1.5 hour test. That will help me reproduce it closer to your setup.

Whoa, thank you for showing me this. That is definitely not how it should look. It looks like the Russian language text is being corrupted by encoding, so the UI is showing broken characters instead of proper Russian. I’m fixing this ASAP by moving the translated text into safer external language files instead of relying on embedded text inside the plugin. The next update will keep English as the default and include a corrected language pack that server owners can install separately. Sorry about that, and thank you for letting me know. I tested it on the hotfix and it should work soon in the next update. Thank you for letting me know about this issue.

Hi there, thank you for reporting this. That load time definitely is not normal for RustVitals. It sounds like the plugin may be doing too much during startup on your server, especially if the server has a large entity count or a large saved data file. I’m going to review the startup scan and make it lighter so RustVitals does not perform heavy checks immediately on load. For now, please try deleting or backing up the RustVitals data file, then reload the plugin: oxide/data/RustVitals.json Also, if possible, send me your entity count and whether this happened during server startup or a manual plugin reload. I’ll get a performance patch out for this. I will also be updating the plugin to make it more lightweight for this matter. Thank you.

Yes, it can definitely help point you in the right direction. It won’t magically fix every lag spike, but it checks things like FPS, frame time, dropped items, corpses, NPCs, vehicles, turrets, locked crates, dense grids, and recent spike history. It also has safe cleanup tools for dropped items and corpses, so if the spike is from common server clutter, it can help clean that up. If it’s from a plugin, host issue, or event, RustVitals helps narrow down what to look at. I’ll also be continuing to update RustVitals along the roadmap to make it even more useful over time.

Hi there, I recently started uploading plugins and just had one fully published. I heard that in order to withdraw funds, I may need the Creator role on the site. Is there a specific place I need to apply for this, or is it handled automatically once a plugin is published? I’m still fairly new to the site, so I just wanted to ask and make sure I’m following the correct process. Thanks!

Hey, good question. Right now RustVitals is mainly designed around the ingame admin dashboard and chat commands, but I can add proper RCON/server console support so admins can run scans, reports, cleanup, Discord tests, and status checks without needing to be in-game. That would make commands like vitals.scan, vitals.status, vitals.report, vitals.clean dropped, and vitals.discordtest usable directly from RCON. I’ll look into adding this into the next update. Stay tuned for the next updated file

RustVitals is a server health and performance monitoring plugin for Rust servers running Oxide/uMod. It gives admins a clean in-game dashboard to quickly check server FPS, frame time, entities, dropped items, corpses, NPCs, vehicles, turrets, locked crates, dense map areas, lag spikes, and overall server risk. RustVitals is made to help server owners spot common performance problems faster without digging through console logs or guessing what is causing lag. It also includes cleanup tools, useful recommendations, Discord webhook reports, RCON/server-console support, and optional language files. Key Features Clean in-game admin dashboard Main command: /vt ui Server FPS and frame-time monitoring Server risk score Top entity scanner High-density grid reports Dropped item and corpse cleanup Lag spike tracking Server health recommendations Live dashboard console Discord webhook reports RCON/server-console support Admin-only permission Optional language file support Permission rustvitals.admin Example: oxide.grant group admin rustvitals.admin Version RustVitals v1.6.2$19.99- 16 comments

Hey there , I'm having an issue uplaoding the .map file to the Rustmaps.com site for custom prefabs. After selecting the file and press create it would load forever and not allow me to upload the .map file. it worked on their own default prefabs but i would like the one you made. Any help would be great man.
