This can be ignored, its just saying that there is an entity in wagona etc that is not accounted for, no issue will be caused by this. I will however remove ths in my next patch. I am releasing an update shortly.

I feel bad for the people who bought the old version having to pay again instead of it being upgraded.

While I would love to give this out for free I simply could not do that, these plugins take many hours of investigation and work. I will however grant anyone who previously bought it a %50 discount 😃 (for a limited time)

Just to confirm this isnt an upgrade. The plugin is completely different in features and the way it works. The original plugin didnt allow for building per say like this one does. While i agree having the same name may be confusing I believe here it is used more so from a branding perspective rather than a updated plugin.

I missed the part were I need to delete the map. I will have to wait for my next wipe. 

All seems to work except being able to build.  I was buying the old one, and after I added it to the cart it showed this one. I bought this one instead.

Hey Ghost I just released an update that massive improves performance and fixes some other bugs! 

Im sorry to hear you missed that steps, no need to worry though, next wipe just make sure you 
1. Delete you current map

2. Upload the latest version of the train plugin to your server while its off
3. Turn the server on

4. Rail topo will be generated as building topo instead.

 

if you want to edit your existing map you can also do so in rust edit by removing the rail topology (including rail siding I believe) then re-uploading the map to your server, there is a way to do this without losing player data. SRTBull has a video on it I think but I couldnt find it. Instead here is a Reddit post talking about it

I do not have a PC, I am on a Mac, so I can't use RustEdit. Well unless I missed  the Mac version when I looked.

I dont think their is a version for Mac. Looks like you'll need to just wait for next wipe. If you have any questions before wiping your server feel free to DM me or @me on discord @schmenkins @0g.Ghost.7373

Hey @Forcet let me check if this is public on Oxide, can you confirm which type of server you are on (Oxide vs Carbon)?

I have identified the cause of the issue and I am booting an oxide local server now. Give me a 10-30 minutes and I should have a fix

One more question: do I need to remove all the topology, both above and below the map, or is it enough to just remove it from above?

Great question, building in the tunnels is unfortunately not possible as the prevent building volume is baked into the tunnel prefab itself. However building on the above ground rails is completely possible, the plugin if loaded at server startup will hook into the map gen and automatically adjust the rail topology, if you want to apply this to an existing or custom map you would have to open up RustEdit and edit the rail topology manually to change to building topology.

I really find this plugin to be interesting and would be a great contribution to a server and game world I'm building.

The only thing that has me hesitate in making a purchase is the super restrictive license agreement. Don't get me wrong, I understand the need to have some restrictions in place to maintain copyrights, but the section that prohibits the end user from modifying or altering their licensed copy of the script under ANY circumstance seems to be a bit too much to me.  Again I am totally on board with prohibiting redistribution or reverse engineering, but I think the end user should be allowed to tailor the mod to suit their own server's specific needs. Perhaps with the "at-your-own-risk" caveat of no support from the developer in such cases. As with most mods, one size doesn't fit all.

I'm not necessarily expecting this to change but it would certainly be icing on the cake especially for a plugin as costly as this one.

Hello @Singularity,  first thank you for taking the time to read the license, and apologies if it was too restrictive for your needs. Below is the snippet I believe you are referring to. 

"You may not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation" 

If there is an applicable law in your country you may have the ability to do one of the aforementioned.

I would love to hear about what modifications you would like to see made and I'm sure I can add them in.

Hello. The topology of rails have b een changed to building i restarted the server 3 times and i still get the error. Any ideeea why?

Why does it add a switch to the work carts?

I don't think I have any other plugins that would add that unless armored train is doing it.... I have never seen it before.

Hey @0g.Ghost.7373, I checked into this and its def my plugin, I was experimenting with a new feature and forgot to remove the switches before releasing the update. I have an update that will be posted next week that will take care of this 🙂

Another question.... I bought this last month, and had to wait for my monthly wipe to use it. Am I just being unlucky or something else?. The maps look fine on RustMaps but as soon as I Wipe and load them and start following the tracks, there's "landslides" over the tracks,  tracks floating above the map, and them green boxes smack dab in the middle of a road and track intersection, blocking the track...

This is interesting, i'd love to figure out whats going on here for you, you mention a custom map so when you load this in my plugin shouldnt be procedurally editing the map, if you use a custom map you need to manually adjust the rail topologies to building topology (both rail & railside) if you could reach out to me on discord i'd be more than happy to help you integrate this into your server.
