Offline Raid Protection 1.7.0 — Tax Protection Update

This update introduces optional Tax Protection: an upkeep-style system that lets players maintain Tool Cupboard protection with a configurable in-game currency, paid protection time, and optional cupboard-held currency reserves. It also adds per prefab protection multipliers.

Offline Raid Protection 1.6.0 Update for August Force Wipe

This huge update adds Scheduled Timescales, automated Wipe Templates, an optional Status HUD,
and admin-only Map Markers for bases and boats.

Carbon users can manage schedules and templates through the new in-game Admin UI editor;
Oxide users can edit the dedicated JSON files manually.

Hi
Im trying to define specifik raid times.

100% protection from 00-16. 0% protection from 16.00. But it doesnt seems to work properly.

The chatcommand does seem to understand it, but there is no protection outside of the specified raidtimes. Bases take damage no matter what. I have assigned the default permission.

    "Scale of damage depending on the current hour of the real day": {
      "0": 0.0,
      "1": 0.0,
      "2": 0.0,
      "3": 0.0,
      "4": 0.0,
      "5": 0.0,
      "6": 0.0,
      "7": 0.0,
      "8": 0.0,
      "9": 0.0,
      "10": 0.0,
      "11": 0.0,
      "12": 0.0,
      "13": 0.0,
      "14": 0.0,
      "15": 0.0,
      "16": 1.0,
      "17": 1.0,
      "18": 1.0,
      "19": 1.0,
      "20": 1.0,
      "21": 1.0,
      "22": 1.0,
      "23": 1.0
    },

Have you configured a time zone per the documentation? If not, the hours will likely be for UTC rather than server local time.

I did not manually configure a timezone - I was aware of it in testing though. I tested when there was 100% protection, but raiding was still possible.

I'm not too familiar with the hour-of-day stuff...Asked Edwin and he said this:

There is no need to configure the 0% protection values. He should send the whole config. The /raidprot output would be also good

i dont know if this is working. unless its just my server

"Online time to qualify for offline raid protection in minutes:

Time to qualify for offline raid protection after a player connects

Set this to a positive value to discourage players from quickly logging on and back off solely to reset protection."

just had a player test a long login then log off and a quick join and leave and still gains protection i had it set to 1 hour before but players where logging off before then and still gaining it

Sorry, my mistake — you are using Oxide. The Oxide compiler doesn't support the new C# feature yet.
A fix will be released soon.

Could you verify that with the new version please?

Create a support ticket if you have tried version 1.5.1.
Attach the configuration and data files.
Optionally, record a video to help us reproduce the issue.

"Scale of damage depending on the offline time in hours": { "48": 1.0 }, "Cooldown in minutes": 25,
  "Online time to qualify for offline raid protection in minutes": 30,

Cooldown in Minutes, Only applies if you have been attacked?
Or there is always some time you are not protected when going offline?

With the setting Online Time To Qualify, does it have to bee in one session, what if you have some minutes before server restart or you disconnect

The cooldown period is the amount of time that must pass after disconnecting before Offline Raid Protection becomes active. It is not attack-triggered. With a cooldown time of 25 minutes, the player is unprotected for the first 25 minutes offline, regardless of whether anyone attacks.

With:

"Scale of damage depending on the offline time in hours": {
"48": 1.0
},
"Cooldown in minutes": 25

the behavior is:

  • 0–25 minutes offline: No Offline Raid Protection.
  • After 25 minutes offline, protection becomes active.
  • At 48 hours offline, the damage scale becomes 1.0, meaning normal damage and no protection.

An additional requirement is online time to qualify. With 30 minutes configured, the player must remain online for at least 30 minutes continuously during their current session before disconnecting.

This time is not accumulated across multiple sessions. For example:

  • Online for 20 minutes, then disconnect; online for 15 minutes: The player does not qualify.
  • If the player is online continuously for 30 minutes and then disconnects, they qualify.
  • A server restart or reconnect starts a new session; therefore, previously accumulated online minutes are not carried over.

A player's offline time is saved and continues across restarts, but the online qualification timer resets after reconnecting.
