Almost exactly my plugin name which has been on this site for 2 years and my exact functions, ive reported this for copyright infringement.

You can't say that you own the idea of issuing bans for x number of reports, what you own is your implementation arround that idea made on your plugin. The idea of making this plugin does not come from yours, but from a real need in my servers and a solution that has been implemented in other games historically.

I did a different implementation of that idea based on real work on populated servers where this has effectivelly helped to control rage cheaters, keeping it simple and light, with no commands, no gui, just a system that works.
I looked at your plugin description and it's completely different than mine, you are mising key features that you will want if you put this plugin to work on a real server, and you also have a lot of bloat arround something that should be simple and effective.

That said, I consider healthy that more than one dev work arround similar ideas, so you can have multiple approaches arround them and the public can choose the one that suits them best.

You named it almost exactly as mine with one word added in the middle your marketing a plugin that has already existed on this and mine contains many more features to actually work on a server, because if you arent aware, ive been running server for over 6 years now. Read into MIT copyright, your in violation, I understand devs working together but you dont see devs making replicas of plugins and maps and reselling them or adding a few features to someones plugin and marketing it as their own for profit.

Do you own a patent for issuing bans on reports in game? I highly doubt it.
The name is a descriptive generic term, not a trademark.

MIT does not apply because my code is completely unrelated to yours, we just had a similar idea (but different implementation) for a function that has been arround games for decades.

So you see mine and then you think to yourself, "Let me post the exact same functionality as his and sell it with less features than his paid version but just a few more features than his free version. if i saw someone had a plugin for something i wouldn't sell the exact thing as my own and market it as my own, you take away money from the original creator and get known as a fake and reseller, and im surprised this codefling is allowing this. By the way this function hasnt been around for decades because I was the first to publish a mod like this on here, and still back to the name, AutoReportBan & AutoBan... Be for real.

The whole process of creating my plugin is totally unrelated to yours.
I just needed something that works both on modded and community servers for my own org to help deal with rage cheaters which can sometimes take time to ban if there is no admin available, while the cheater destroys the experience. 
It actually worked as intended, I'm very happy with the results.

 

Then you should keep it for yourself and not sell it when the solution has already existed.

You mean selling your work that someone else already created and shared?

I'm about to go after you in for violation of the MIT license, I see youve posted this many places. Nice copy.
