HOW TO ADD A TRACK? If you have already created your own track file, skip the first 3 steps. To add a new track, it’s very easy, follow the steps below: 1° Have the midi file (.mid) you want to add ready. 2° Goto the https://npcbands.vercel.app 3° Upload your file and click in the DOWNLOAD button 4° Move the downloaded file to oxide/data/NPCBands/Notes/ Now, the track name to add to the configuration file will be the file name without the .json extension. Adds music speakers to monuments you choose locations via chat commands and set there urls in the config. Stand where you want the speaker to spawn and run one of the commands. Hit twice with the tool hammer to remove any placed speaker. Permission's monumentmusic.admin Chat Command's /mmc monument - Adds speaker to monument. /mmc mylocation - Adds speaker to your world location. /mmc maponly - Adds speaker to monument for that map name only.

For optimal experience, keep the music duration under 30 seconds. Provide a hosting space for your .mp3 file (services like GitHub work well for many, but not for everyone). The Music Delay determines the seconds after player entry before the music starts. Q/A Why does playing music result in stuttering / loop? This is due to low FPS on the player's client side (Improved in the Rust December 2022 patch). Why does playing music result in white noise? This happens when the client fails to successfully retrieve the music from your provided MP3 URL. Please check your URL or consider switching hosting services. Are there requirements for the URL format? Yes, the URL must be a complete web address without ports or special characters. Why do certain players hear default music during playing? This occurs because some players have disabled the "INTERNET AUDIO STREAMS" option in their game settings. How to find free MP3 hosting services? You can try uploading to GitHub and copy the raw link, but GitHub may not work for everyone.. However, it's best to have your own web server to host your MP3 files. Or use Google to search for "free MP3 hosting" to find available free services.

A small concert tent where players can show how well they can play the instruments. Prefabs: 374 Please note: Download the prefab files and place them in RustEdit/CustomPrefabs directory of RustEdit. The prefabs can be accessed in the custom section of prefab browser. To use sinlge letters, the prefab has to be broken by selecting it (once placed) and using the "break prefab" function. Important: I don't use "prevent building sphere/cubes" in any of my prefabs, also no monument markers are set. These need to be added by yourself. If the NPCs are not wanted, press the H key (overview of all prefabs) and delete them from the prefab.
