Finally, full control over Deep Sea — love this plugin!
This plugin is exactly what I was looking for. DeepSeaOptions transforms Deep Sea from a rigid vanilla experience into something you can actually shape around your server's needs. AlwaysOpen mode works beautifully, building controls are well thought out, and the travel rules give you a surprising amount of flexibility. The config is clean and easy to understand even if you're not super technical.
If you're running any kind of custom or modded server and want Deep Sea to feel like a proper part of your experience, this is a must-have. Absolutely worth it — five stars without hesitation.
Hi, I'm running DeepSeaOptions with AlwaysOpen mode on a custom map. Two issues:
RHIBs are completely absent — no boats spawning at all despite Count set to 4. Control-Content is enabled, NPC travel rules are both set to true (Allow Non-Player Passengers and Allow Non-Player Entity Teleport).
Ghost ship scientists spawn and move, but the Ship itself don't move — the ship seems to be completely frozen, no patrolling or reacting.
Regular NPCs on the map work fine, so it's not a general navmesh issue. I've tried adjusting spacing/edge buffer values and force closing/reopening. Config attached.
Is this a known issue with AlwaysOpen mode, or is there something specific to how RHIBs and scientist AI initialize in Deep Sea that I'm missing?
