It is impossible. Quarry prefabs has some "aura" which will not allow you to use wiretools near them even if i will add adapters.

For some reason, the facepunch broke the standard quarry. I will replace it in next update. But it work as expected even now. Its just a grafic/sound defect.

Okay.. Things that you described is not possible (i assure you). I guess your players use different quarries. Check the configuration, I am sure that you will find there 3 different quarries that have the above-mentioned different mining options in their production settings. Try to delve into the settings and description of the plugin in more detail. If you still can't figure it out you can ask for help with config settings in our development channel https://discord.gg/MWeNJV5e7F

That caused not by the plugin. The quarry's model was changed by Facepunch. I quess they will fix this bugs in next update. If not, i'll try to change prefab to anouther. -
