A few questions and suggestions before purchasing

  1. Does this block suicide?
  2. Does this block cuffed players from interacting with anything including getting onto vehicles/mounts?
  3. Is there a console command to cuff players from rcon?
  4. Can you add support for kits so cuffed players will automatically wear that kit?
  5. Do cuffed players respawn with handcuffs if they die?
  6. Can we run commands to cuff offline players so when they login they will be cuffed?

I basically want cuffed players to not be able to do anything. Only walk around, and if they get killed, they will respawn with handcuffs. I don't really care for the ability to have handcuffs in my hotbar to cuff players. I just want to type "cuff playername" and have that player cuffed right away with all ability removed. Can't even use /slash commands.

I will buy this plugin once these 6 questions have been satisfied.

Well pretty much most of your questions are answered in the config, however I'll asnwer them here and include addition info for future clients.

  1. Yes - Configurable option to block any console command
  2. Yes - Players cannot move, use items or mount anything
  3. No - You cannot do that from the console
  4. Maybe - Yes I can add support for kits
  5. No - On player death players are uncuffed
  6. No - You cannot cuff offline players

I'll look over and consider all your request and may add them soon into the plugin.

Changes to the plugin from your questions:

3. Yes - You can now lock players through the console

4. Yes - The support for Kits was not needed, the customsation for clothes added in the plugin

5 . Yes - You have configurable option to change that

6. No - I do not plan to add this for now because of exploit issues and functionality

Id like to suggest a fix for wounded players. Currently wounded players who get cuffed tell me they spaz out on their screen, if possible, perhaps auto revive them on cuff.

What happens if a player suicides/teleports? Will he automaticly teleport back? Or what if he logs off?

Is this admin tool only or can this be used for RP purposes too and if so how is abuse handled? For example if someone handcuffs someone and doesnt decide to let him go until they rage quit.

I dont have a PVE/RP server but just normal Rust PVP so I would like to know if it can be used there too in any realistic way.

Would be funny if players could use it and cuff someone and lock them up and even take them to their own personal jails. However with a set time limit to prevent real abuse. Maybe only 3 minutes or whatever you decide to set it to. With of course with the option to take their inventory and release them and send them off into the wild again.

Most of your questions are answered in the description and within the provided config.

I would please ask people to value mine and their time by reading the description before asking questions.

To keep it short, the only feature that is missing from your question is the time limit you spoke of, and everything else is configurable in regards of, suicide/teleport (chat/console commands), and the item can be set up to be purchasable from a shop with console command, which is completely usable in RP and Non RP servers.

Adding time period or option for the person to escape is being taken in consideration, and will probably surface as a feature when I get some free time.

Yep, I was fighting against him posting that, but I guess I lost the battle, so when a similar product is out for free the price of mine had to go down...

I know people who wanted to invest for their servers to be unique, feel let down, but I couldn't stop Umod for approving it as he had not ripped off mine plugin, but just re-wrote it on his own based on his vision.

I do believe this is ruining both mine and server owners business, but it was out of my control. If he takes down the Umod pluging, my price will go up again.

Although he doesn't have all the feature I offer, hopefully that gives you some peace of mind.

Yes I get it, that's why I think you can add some functionality. The main function allows the police to be handcuffed, but why by adding an object in order to leave the opportunity for the handcuffed player to be able to run away and this unconstrained. Also add another permission with another item skin (serflex) so that non-police players can also tie people up. This would allow the roleplay to be developed further. thank you for your answer I hope you like my ideas. And it will be worth its price;)

Functionally they're likely the same. However, I do often prefer the premium variant only because the author has more incentive to support and update it, versus taking the gamble with a public version that could likely become abandoned.

I would beg to correct you there Death, as functionality, I offer way more features from the public version which are listed on the page.

The free version was so far a cheap rip off of the original idea, and I went through all the trouble and contacted OTV Rust for their permission, so really no idea how it managed to bypass verification, but it's live, and I know the Free one, does not offer as much as I do.

Great plugin. however, It would be interesting to be able to retrieve the handcuffs when they are removed.

It would be nice if a player is handcuffed, his clothes remain in his inventory because currently his clothes fall to the ground to be replaced by those of a prisoner. And when the player is released the prisoner's clothes are removed from the player.

Hello, very nice plugin, however, the backpack does not work. When I activate the option in the configuration, and I handcuff a player,

I want to look in his backpack, and there, I have this message:

No Backpack found for {target.displayName}

 However, I have the backpack plugin:

Hi,

Most likely the person does not have any backpack created with any items inside of it. Lastly, when I checked it was working correctly.

Are you 100% confident the player you're trying to loot has items in his backpack?

So I did the tests again, and I don't have access to the backpack. Yet the prisoner has items in it. I do not understand. Does it work with Umod's Backpack plugin? Would there be a permission to declare on your plugin or on the Backpack plugin? Have you tried again on your server to see if it still works?

Hey, I've tried finding you in the CodeFling discord but was unable to do so. I'm currently getting an issue where when I have a user handcuffed I can't view their backpack. I understand your concern, there is no need to re-post your messages.
