Can this turn off all player-deployed lights at a given time at night (ingame time), unless the player is online?
I get huge bases with hectic lights lagging players FPS. In itself I don't mind that, but I do mind if the player build it and is not online when this happens, so I'd like to disable lights in offline player's bases.

Sorry, I think I missed that one. We don't normally check owners since we have no permissions, to make the toggle of lights as efficient as we can.

You might find https://umod.org/plugins/night-lantern has per player permissions, and you could leave it up to the players to turn on their lights. If people are being jerks, you could use https://umod.org/plugins/entity-limit to throttle back the billion camp fire lag-fest compound defense move.

On my server, they did not come on when placed, but did come on when checked. I will work to correct them to turn on when placed... Okay, I have fixed it so weapon racks light on when placed (based on config).  But had no issues with the timer turning them on.  I will need your configuration to debug this please.

Have just opened a support ticket with requested config, thanks.

Did you try:   "Alter Unowned Entities": true,

? If it did not work, I will do some testing.

Odd, it worked on my server, perhaps it is a config issue.  Did you try /lights check to see if that toggled it?  Shoot me your configuration please, and I will test it on my test server.

Please note: if there is a switch attached to a light, it is not toggled. I mainly use it for hobo barrels.  I can look to add an option and logic for monument lights (that have switches).  I hopefully will have some time this weekend to look into it. I've tried a few ways, but it is not behaving as expected.  I hope to have some time off at Christmas to try again.

I tried a few different methods to control monument lights, but found none that would work and not impact normal circuits.  Hopefully a smarter developer will find a solution.

Hello.
Could someone make sure that the torch holder turns off automatically during the day and turns on automatically at night?

Ideally put in a support request with your config and I will test and debug it. You have the setting for them specifically set to n

There are no permissions, so it does all objects.  By skipping checking the owner of objects, it is noticeably faster. Every item set to go on, goes on, regardless of owner, and goes on quickly.  Good for very high pop servers, or servers where player place hundreds of lights. Not useful for VIP servers, Night Lantern is the best choice in that case.

I suspect I am missing the boat on a toggle. I would like to be able to control turning on or off a Player Hobo Barrel but am unable to do so. I have static Hobo Barrels set to "always" and Player Hobo Barrels set to "night." Protect Hobo Barrels is set to false. What am I missing ?

Shoot me the entire config and what your goal is.  Player hobo on at night all public ones always on?  I will give it a test on my test server.

I haven't found whether this question has already been asked here.

Unfortunately, torches of all kinds fall apart and disappear. Is there a way to keep them?

Sorry for the slow reply. Shoot me your config @Dr.D.Bug I will test to see what is going on. Also, a list of plugins so I can check for conflicts.  Ideally, open a support request if you have not done so already.

Hi @Mals, no problem at all. I'll send you my config and the List of Plugins soon. Maybe there will be some conflicts with Everlight and No Decay. 🤷‍♂️.
I forgot to mention; in the current constellation with all these plugins the torches won't disappear. But at least I wouldn't keep Everlight as additional plugin just for the torches.
