  1. We’ve updated our review policy to make the feedback process more open, transparent, and now completely community-driven. Reviews will still undergo an initial check to ensure they are appropriate and in line with our terms of service. Beyond this, we will no longer evaluate the authenticity of user experiences beyond what is outlined in our disclaimer. Starting today, the community has taken control of all reviews to improve transparency and fairness. You get to decide what you deem appropriate feedback or not, rather than at the whim of our moderation team. While we worked extremely hard to be transparent and ensure quality reviews, we completely understand that it wasn't a good look. You can mark a review as helpful or unhelpful to increase or decrease the signal from each review. Once a review becomes overwhelmingly unhelpful, it will no longer contribute to the review's rating, but will still be visible, positioned slightly out of sight to avoid occupying screen real estate from helpful reviews. This can go either way, so we'll be actively monitoring review voting activity to ensure the integrity of our new review system and prevent it from being used in an inappropriate way to influence or invalidate reviews, such as coordinated attacks from malicious users or creators trying to boost their ratings. As with everything, we will hope for the best and adjust accordingly. If you have any feedback or questions about these changes, please don't hesitate to ask them here. We're very interested to know what your take is. To read the updated disclaimer, check out https://codefling.com/disclaimer/

  2. With the Jungle update coming this wipe we've added a new file flair which will allow creators to flag their assets and maps as compatible for server owners so they can be confident going into the wipe. Files that are compatible will show with a "Jungle Compatible" badge across the site, including your purchase dashboard. Expanding on the previous flair we had for World 2.0 update, we also added the badge on the file's page to make it easier to spot when browsing for new files. We expect many more maps and assets to become supported prior to the update so please give our creators some time to push updates! Just to clarify, any map or asset will work fine with this update, but it wont include the new Jungle biome which is why we've opted to add a flair for it. This really only applies to maps, but we included it for assets as well to give creators a chance to promote their assets designed for the new biome.

  3. We're excited to announce our huge update that reinvents how you find custom maps, as well as putting hundreds of data points at your fingertips to know everything about the map before you pull the trigger on it. You're no longer at the mercy of the author providing all of the relevant information about their map, as this is now handled automatically by Codefling to expand filtering capability and reduce the burden on authors to keep this information up to date as the map evolves. This is all possible thanks to our new map parser that automatically verifies the integrity of the map file, as well as grabs all relevant information, which allows us to automatically flag problematic maps, as well as expand upon your ability to filter out maps. From map size, monuments, buildable area, biome percentage, down to how many lakes, tunnels, and rails, you can now find the perfect map that fits your server! Additionally, when viewing a map, you'll see a quick overview at the top of the description that provides a comprehensive breakdown of the map's contents.

  4. We're happy to announce our collections feature, which lets users create and browse collections created by fellow server owners, admins, and creators. Build and organize private collections per server to get support and see updates at a glance, share your favorites with other users, create additional shopping carts and wishlists, or organize your files as a creator to offer customers themed packs. How you use it is up to you!* Looking for themed packs for your server? Best admin tools? Best PvE plugins? This is the new home to discover and share content. Found a collection that you like? Be sure to upvote to increase its discoverability! Can't find any? Build your own and share it with the world, or hoard it for yourself How does it work? When viewing a file, you'll now see an add to collection button that prompts you to add it to an existing collection or create a new one. Once a collection is created, you can continue adding new files using the same button or from the collection's page. To access your collections, click your username in the top-right of the site and select "My Collections" from the dropdown menu. https://codefling.com/collections/

  5. Since introducing the standard warranty on all purchases, we've covered hundreds in damages from abandoned or discontinued files for our customers. Now, we've made the process even easier by adding a dedicated claims center to quickly submit refund requests for applicable purchases. We hope this will alleviate the strain from our main support channels while also providing faster responses by having a dedicated claims team. You can initiate the process directly from the claims center, though it's recommended to do so from your purchase dashboard, as we're able to prefill much of the required fields for you. We expect responses within 24 hours, but please bear with us as we improve the process as we go!

  8. While it's pretty uncommon for a file to be outright abandoned or discontinued, it can happen and when it does it really doesn't inspire much confidence when making purchases. Because of this we've always issued refunds where we could on a case-by-case basis, but that was never a guarantee, until now! From now on, any and all purchases made on Codefling comes with a free 6 month warranty that ensures you'll have a working file, or a full refund. If the file is out of SLA the cost will be covered by Codefling, and not the file's author. We hope this gives you more peace of mind when purchasing awesome new plugins and maps for your server! This new warranty has also been automatically applied to all purchases made within the last 6 months as well, so all of your previous purchases are already covered. If you need to make a claim feel free to reach out using one of our many support channels: https://codefling.com/help You can conveniently check the status of this warranty over on your Purchases Dashboard to the left of each purchase. It will indicate if the warranty is still active, or has expired. Hovering over the badge will show you when it expires, or has expired. If you're a Codefling+ member your 2-year warranty will stack on-top of the 6 month warranty!

  9. I sure hope not. That plugin overcomplicates something that is extremely simple. I'm struggling to see the value in it at all. It does absolutely nothing besides expensive api calls. For developers: If you want to see if a user owns a skin: player.blueprints.CheckSkinOwnership(skinItemId, player.userID) If you want to see if a user owns DLC: item.info.steamDlc.HasLicense(player.userID) If you want to see if an item requires a DLC: item.info.NeedsSteamDLC If for whatever reason you need the full list of approved skins: foreach (var skin in Approved. All) { var itemName = skin.Value.Skinnable.ItemName; var skinId = skin.Value.WorkshopdId; // etc... It's a Dictionary<ulong, ApprovedSkinInfo> } Furthermore, you can go pretty deep with skins and see if they're tradable and marketable. There may be some skins Facepunch makes an exception for that aren't obtainable via monetary means. ApprovedSkinInfo.Tradable ApprovedSkinInfo.Marketable That's it. That's all you need. If I'm missing something let me know and I'll add it.

  12. Obviously I can't help with refunds, but it is a one line change to remove turrets from whatever profile you want "Kill These Prefabs After Paste": ["assets/prefabs/npc/autoturret/autoturret_deployed.prefab"], You can also change the door types within profiles: "Change Door Type To": { "Wooden": false, "Metal": false, "HQM": false, "Include Garage Doors": false },

  16. Hello, It would be helpful to be able to add a specific reaction to a particular version, rather than applying it to the entire product. This would allow for more precise feedback directly related to the changes or fixes in a given version.

  18. It looks like you're running Windows, like Ionut Shiro already suggested: there is a permissions problem (this is Windows related), the file path of your local server - it should not be in the root folder of your C:\ drive for general default security reasons. To simply avoid those permission issues (goverened by your OS) then move your local test server to another disk, or partition if possible. It will be simpler that way. instead of changing UAC application control and disk read write permissions, this will take more time but is relatively simple to do. Put the map in Dropbox also like IonutShiro suggested, it wont download correctly or even at all from GoogleDrive. make sure the end of the dropbox linik shows =1 and not =0 when you paste the link into your server levelurl startup line. If you only intend to run your RustDedicated instance on a local non networked or offline system, you can host the map locally on another drive instead of online. Simply add the drivepath like so: "file:///path/to/your/custom.map" ensure the path is appended by "file:///" path is your folder structure and location. Hopefully that helps further.

  19. Upload the custom map file here as an example - https://mapstr.gg/ It will give you direct download link to the map file which is needed in server.levelurl

  20. Google drive is not good for map hosting , use either dropbox or a private storage of yours with direct download link generation or mapstr.gg

  26. I'll second that, it's working very nicely indeed. The accuracy of those details on a custom map is very high. The tags are neat, display and organisation of the info and the overall informaiton itself makes choosing a custom map far easier, well done.

  28. Not sure if anyone ever tried this plugin https://umod.org/plugins/pets, I used to love it alot. When Panimal came out I really liked the responsiveness but its just missing something's. It would be really awesome if someone made a plugin were you could actually tame the animals like the old umod version or maybye a more creative way. Your pet shoul be able to eat from a trough, get water at the lakes and rivers or some other way, have sleep options, guard duty options. Maybye even like a love meter? so if you keep them alve longer they are better somehow and you feel more ineracted with the pet. maybye be able to name them and have them try to survive the whole wipe?

  31. Will the author be able to mark the review as unhelpful? I've definitely seen some plugins with a bunch of reviews that are all clearly written by friends/groups of modders that work together. Any plans to monitor this?

  32. Check out https://codefling.com/subscriptions/. Creator+ includes a feature for instant publish. I do believe there are additional requirements. I can't find it anymore but from what I remember it aligns with your idea. I think it's 3 published plugins and creator for at least 6 months.

  33. We do have a clear refund policy on the site https://codefling.com/refunds/

  34. That would be a disaster, people would be buying products, downloading them and then requesting a refund because they no longer use it.

  35. - Discord webhooks for messages, sales, support requests ect - Affiliate links with the option to opt in or out on each product

  36. This is not needed as we can easily see if they've created a support request or not, which is a requirement for warranty refunds. No point in adding an extra step for customers when we can look it up on our end.

  37. Fixed. Sorry about that.

  38. Use the version prior that works still and is what you wanted and what was described when ya payed.. I don't think warranty covers changes that you don't like as every plugin, map and file is updated and constantly being made better and the customer always has the option to use older versions if he does not like the changes... From what i see here rust removed dlc usages that he took his time and revamped the bases to comply with FP new TOS. Also there is tons of options to disable them in RB plugin. Remove Equipped Weapon (true) Weapon To Equip When Unequipped null "Kill These Prefabs After Paste": ["assets/prefabs/npc/autoturret/autoturret_deployed.prefab"], or if sentry add its prefab

  44. Five years ago we set out on a mission to bring the community together in an attempt to simplify the distribution of free and paid content, as well as opening the door to those who would otherwise be turned away. We're happy to say we've now welcomed over 700 creators from all over the world to make modding more accessible and affordable to server owners. Since we started, the community has exploded and the depth and complexity of plugins has evolved well beyond what we thought possible, and with the abundance of new talent they've become much, much cheaper. When I first started hosting Rust servers back in 2017 almost everything you needed had to be custom made and was insanely expensive, and completely out of the question for smaller servers. Now of days almost anything you can think of is already made and available for download. Every cent earned from sales has been pumped back into our platform to fund our addiction for consistent innovation and growth. I am pleased to announce that we've not made any profit (which is kind of sad ngl) so far, and with the ever-growing roadmap I don't think this will change anytime soon. I'm very proud of the ecosystem we've made over the years and seeing so many people turn their passion into their full time job, including those who help keep things running smoothly here. Every single member on our team is paid for what they do, and that's all thanks to you and our creators! While we certainly aren't without faults, we hope to push forward and continue to grow and innovate to further push the limits of modding and make running servers as easy as we possibly can. If you're reading this, we thank you for helping us get to where we are now, and we promise to consistently evolve to make your hobby, or career, easier and more enjoyable.
