My favourite thing about Christmas is PRESENTS and MINCE PIES! Probably also sharing, giving and makin folks happy.  But mostly PRESENTS and pies,

The best thing about Christmas is watching the grand kids opening their presents and remembering what it was like when you were that age  and also that feeling of not being able to sleep the night before Christmas. Ahh the memories of ones younger self are still there even if our bodies age and ache

I would like to add the second best thing about Christmas is this also is the only time our whole family gets together, even if there is some drama.

I've been reflecting on my experiences between family and colleagues and I've realized that there is disconnect. I long for deeper, more meaningful connections. Ones where everyone in the discord channel doesn't ditch and ghost me, you know, who you are!

I feel overthinking and worrying, can be isolating also. I hope this Christmas and New Year bring joy back and bad feelings can go away.
