How can we suck less?

I suggest adding a pinned message feature to the user's page(similar to the one on the plugin's page), allowing authors to make announcements directly on their profiles.

Click edit profile, enable status updates and then you can post on your activity feed which will alert followers. It's not quite what you asked for but this allows you to communicate directly with followers and have a wall where they can respond, etc.

Is it possible to implement a feature that allows authors to manually grant separate access to the support section(only) for paid plugins(with custom label for such users)?
I'm not sure how convenient this would be, but there are cases where a plugin is purchased for a project where multiple people may be working, but the plugin is only purchased on one account.

A lot of this has likely been implemented, but I've not had time to go through and respond to everything and give out gift cards. This will happen soon though. 🙂

I noticed that if you close a support ticket from Pending to Not Bug(for example) and then edit the main message in the ticket, it becomes Pending again.
Of course, there's no point in changing the main message after the issue is resolved, but I just wanted to share this observation.

I'll have a look. Thanks for letting us know.

If possible, could you please move the preview button to the right? I've developed a habit and whenever I try to make text bold, I end up clicking the preview button😅

This was a recent change, so give it some time. I feel it's better on the left. I just added a divider to hopefully prevent misclicks. Also to make text bold you can use the hotkey CTRL + B and bypass having to click it altogether.

Honestly I don't even know how useful that is now of days with the new live editor. I've removed it for now to see if there's anyone who actually uses it.

There is zero activity in the Bases section (prefabs are reviewing quite rapidly though). Do you even have a staff for that section?

Sorry, I missed this. Around this time, we were short-handed in that section. It should be much faster now!

I would definitely not say Codefling 'sucks', but my only question/problem/issue is that I purchased 3 plugins (Boss Monster, BetterNpc and RaidableBases) from LoneDesign (before I heard about Codefling) and really have a hard time dealing with their customer service and plugin updates, so if anything it would just be nice to be able to download updates from Codefling for plugins I already purchased on a different site (ie. LoneDesign, ChaosCode).  I do not accept free downloads from anyone, and do not purchase from illegitimate sites or developers, and really just want to be able to download them from Codefling; which is the only site I purchase my plugins from now anyway.  Like I said, idk if this is possible, but it would really help me to organize and update my plugins better.  Thanks for reading this and thank you for your service and support. (apologies for redundancies and/or ignorance on my part)

Be unbias when people upload reviews about products. in other words, dont try and practice new ways to remove a review from products because CodeFling wants to keep making money on said poorly reviewed product. Reviews serve as a buy-beware if bad reviews are left on products. Dont interfere with the review process what so ever. took a screenshot of this and time stamped it if this feedback gets removed lmfao

Would love to see a section in my profile that shows the total spent on the platform 😂
So that every time I consider giving up on owning a server, I can remind myself on the amount of money I've spent on plugins alone

Besides that. Keep up the good work!

You don't want to know. Trust me, you don't.

We actually have tools to migrate purchases, so this could be possible if the authors are willing. Reach out and live chat, and I can see what I can do. 🙂

Don't think bias is the word you're looking for. If your review provides no value and is not based on a genuine experience, it will not be approved. We have run two polls already, and the current process has been overwhelmingly voted for by not only customers but also creators. Every part of this process is public. Not sure why you'd think we'd hide your feedback as if all of this is lowkey.

Here is the very public Discord channel that shows a feed of all reviews and why they were accepted or declined, featuring yours truly, and uniroincally a negative review 😆

If we could get some basic documentation template layouts or designs that include the standard  Features > Commands > Perms > Notes > Config > Data FIle > Lang File > etc.

So that when we go to upload a new plugin, we are not manually building it out every time and instead simply filling in pre-made template options

Maybe include some official codefling coloring in the templates, idk.

But if we had this the site would greatly improve quality-wise, also mark-down support would be great to have as an alternative option for custom template design.

Maybe something like a template builder with on/off toggles to add specific sections to the template like for example if my plugin only has commands perms and a config then i can just tick those 3 options for the template, fill those sections in and then bam done.

Tbh i think the search functionality of CF needs some work. I want to have more items in my FOV and also have more relevant items when searching. The default search should be products and not include comments and such...
