Even as a Linux admin it is nice to have a little tool like this to manage my Rust instance. The Oxide plugin manager is helpful and works well. The server settings manager breaks out the most used fields and allows for more complex setups if needed. The installation process proved a little tricky because the tool expects the folder structure of your server to be set up the same way as the author. I reached out to the developer, who responded very quickly, and once I made some changes to my server everything started working. Overall the product works well and does what is advertised. I am very pleased the developer reached out to me within 24 hours of reporting a question. As a unique product with good technical support it gets five stars! Suggestions for the Roadmap: List the full paths being used by the tool as variables in the setup screen so it is clear to users. Add a "New Instance" wizard that gather basic information and creates a barebones Rust instance. Build out the backup functionality; add a restore function that shows a list of backups with their metadata so we can restore to a specific point in time with one click. Improve the plugin config file editing experience. Break out a lot more settings as dedicated variables in the server setting interface. This is a Windows app that is running on a desktop monitor, go nuts! The more settings you can list in the app and allow me to check a box or select a variable instead of looking up a convar to type in manually, the better.
