Magic Junkyard Event Panel/Magic Meteor Event Panel
CaptainNebulous replied to CaptainNebulous's topic in Requests
For the Meteor plugin. Although that's probably the lowest priority out of them all IMO -
I will be willing to pay for this event, btw.

It works with the industrial update from what I can see. Just copied a base full of industrial items to test. Even the elevator worked for me.

I think it would be cool to seal up some of the exploits by adding some optional NPC to some of the elevated positions around where the crates spawn. Currently, due to the limited diversity of the spawns.... it can be too easy to exploit the NPC by making them all come to one location where they aren't so good at combat. This can be done by being at an elevated position. So what I'd like to see is optional "additional NPC" in the config which adds a configurable amount of NPC on top of the hangers, in the hangers, and on some of the surrounding platforms/positions

I haven't noticed any bugs or seen reports of bugs in the server, but I just noticed this appears occasionally [Oxide] 09:08 [Error] Failed to call hook 'OnRandomItemAward' on plugin 'CustomGather v2.1.2' (NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object) at Oxide.Plugins.CustomGather.OnRandomItemAward (RandomItemDispenser itemDispenser, RandomItemDispenser+RandomItemChance itemChance, BasePlayer player, UnityEngine.Vector3 distributorPosition) [0x000ae] in <18fbf0d6c08444459dc28fea19d15722>:0 at Oxide.Plugins.CustomGather.DirectCallHook (System.String name, System.Object& ret, System.Object[] args) [0x00176] in <18fbf0d6c08444459dc28fea19d15722>:0 at Oxide.Plugins.CSharpPlugin.InvokeMethod (Oxide.Core.Plugins.HookMethod method, System.Object[] args) [0x00079] in <23ba99f131254889867c71f0bd137b1d>:0 at Oxide.Core.Plugins.CSPlugin.OnCallHook (System.String name, System.Object[] args) [0x000d8] in <157a94ee66ab4a7991faecd1eb84be3b>:0 at Oxide.Core.Plugins.Plugin.CallHook (System.String hook, System.Object[] args) [0x00060] in <157a94ee66ab4a7991faecd1eb84be3b>:0

As for servers supposedly getting banned for using this type of plugin.... I've played on quite a few servers that have DLC items in free kits that never got banned. Got some proof you can post? It wouldn't make any logical sense that they'd ban servers who WEREN'T making money on the DLC. Logically it would be the other way around, where you'd get in trouble for making money off of their DLC.

So it looks like it didn't save the wipe stats when I wiped, also whenever I try to look at another player's stats it says it can't find their stats.
-
So I finally got this working. Turned out I had to rename the file in the SQL to get it to work with my host's chosen file name. But after wipe I am now getting this in the logs [Oxide] 11:47 [Error] MySql handle raised an exception in 'BetterStatistics v1.0.17' plugin (MySqlException: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near 'overall.nailgun = overall.nailgun + wipe.nailgun WHERE overall.stea...' at line 58) at MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlCommand.EndExecuteReader (System.IAsyncResult result) [0x00022] in <8d7380b3d3cf4bd8be324c584f371b44>:0 at (wrapper remoting-invoke-with-check) MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlCommand.EndExecuteReader(System.IAsyncResult) at Oxide.Core.MySql.Libraries.MySql+MySqlQuery.Handle () [0x0010e] in <021a1dba6a754e42a6cc7771fdfee190>:0

Now I know you folks need to make your money, and I've made you a good bit lately which I hope you are enjoying My suggestion here is for a loyalty points system where we earn points for our purchases, which could be used towards a small discount for future purchases Fully understand if you can't do it though. I just think this kind of thing is always a really appealing way to encourage the customer.

Players are getting annoyed about meteors spawning in monuments. Part of the issue is that I have some monument events that I purchased from this site and the meteors can get in the way. So I'm wondering if you could add an option to despawn them, or pre-check locations to prevent them from landing in monuments.

OK So I fixed that, lastly I get this when the plugin unloads.... no biggie tho [Oxide] 13:36 [Error] Failed to call hook 'Unload' on plugin 'MeteorEvent v1.3.3' (InvalidOperationException: Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute.) at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowInvalidOperationException (System.ExceptionResource resource) [0x0000b] in <fb001e01371b4adca20013e0ac763896>:0 at System.Collections.Generic.List`1+Enumerator[T].MoveNextRare () [0x00013] in <fb001e01371b4adca20013e0ac763896>:0 at System.Collections.Generic.List`1+Enumerator[T].MoveNext () [0x0004a] in <fb001e01371b4adca20013e0ac763896>:0 at Oxide.Plugins.MeteorEvent.Unload () [0x000f7] in <d581f2ed2faa4333989e9b5b580f7931>:0 at Oxide.Plugins.MeteorEvent.DirectCallHook (System.String name, System.Object& ret, System.Object[] args) [0x00693] in <d581f2ed2faa4333989e9b5b580f7931>:0 at Oxide.Plugins.CSharpPlugin.InvokeMethod (Oxide.Core.Plugins.HookMethod method, System.Object[] args) [0x00079] in <23ba99f131254889867c71f0bd137b1d>:0 at Oxide.Core.Plugins.CSPlugin.OnCallHook (System.String name, System.Object[] args) [0x000d8] in <157a94ee66ab4a7991faecd1eb84be3b>:0 at Oxide.Core.Plugins.Plugin.CallHook (System.String hook, System.Object[] args) [0x00060] in <157a94ee66ab4a7991faecd1eb84be3b>:0

What happens if I turn the card reader spawn on but leave the space card option off?
-
What exactly is the card reader spawn for? At first I thought this was how to require a space card but then I saw a separate space card setting further down

Well I can tell you gathering plants has been buggy since sometime in April but I already reported that. Seems to count them sometimes and not other times. Or it will stop counting them all together randomly. Skulls smashed may be another culprit from what I can see. Other than that you'll have to do some digging brother.

I am, however, seeing this 08:16 [Error] Failed to call hook 'OnWeaponFired' on plugin 'MeteorEvent v1.3.3' (NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object) at BasePlayer.GiveItem (Item item, BaseEntity+GiveItemReason reason) [0x0004c] in <9e85059cbdd545fca6dc86650f750044>:0 at Oxide.Plugins.MeteorEvent.DamageNode (OreResourceEntity node, BasePlayer player, System.String prefabName) [0x0022a] in <8060ac720c884454b9ab0f2833b536a1>:0 at Oxide.Plugins.MeteorEvent.OnWeaponFired (BaseProjectile projectile, BasePlayer player) [0x0009d] in <8060ac720c884454b9ab0f2833b536a1>:0 at Oxide.Plugins.MeteorEvent.DirectCallHook (System.String name, System.Object& ret, System.Object[] args) [0x0048d] in <8060ac720c884454b9ab0f2833b536a1>:0 at Oxide.Plugins.CSharpPlugin.InvokeMethod (Oxide.Core.Plugins.HookMethod method, System.Object[] args) [0x00079] in <23ba99f131254889867c71f0bd137b1d>:0 at Oxide.Core.Plugins.CSPlugin.OnCallHook (System.String name, System.Object[] args) [0x000d8] in <157a94ee66ab4a7991faecd1eb84be3b>:0 at Oxide.Core.Plugins.Plugin.CallHook (System.String hook, System.Object[] args) [0x00060] in <157a94ee66ab4a7991faecd1eb84be3b>:0

I use PermissionsManager to manage perms and I noticed no perms show up for this. So how do we give people the permissions for different groups?
-
Yep. It was somehow a corrupted config. Not sure how it happened as I don't really change this config very much. But it's fixed now with a config reset.
