@Scalbox Is there a way to add a command for the turrets to go offline when a player goes offline and turn back on when they load in?

Hi, not at the moment but I might add it. I just don't understand why turrets should turn off when a player goes offline?

Was just wondering with it being a pve server and i also have the rocket turrets and players turrets left on take down the heli and others cant lot it because of loot defender so if they would turn off when someone log out it would stop me from checking turrets all the time

Hi, regarding this functionality, do you want an option to add in the configuration file? Something like: Turn off turrets when game goes offline = true

Another thing, if the player is in a clan, I make the turrets turn off only when all clan members are offline ok?

@Scalbox wow both of them in the plugin would be epic but if your only able to add on and the clan one works for solo players also that would be the best option

If you play alone, they turn off when you go offline, if you play in a clan/team, the turrets turn off when the whole clan/team goes offline. Is this okay?

that would be awesome and i have told other server owners about this being adding in so once it is they plan on buying it

I added 2 new commands and also the configuration you need. Just download the latest update and set the EnableAutomaticsStartAndStop = true property in the configurations.

Let me know if everything works as expected or if you encounter any problems.

@Scalbox Feature Request ... or make new plugin?

Include ability to limit SAM sites as well per TC, for both default and VIP. I realize this has turret in the name already but I think adding the ability to limit SAM sites as well per TC, will really compliment this plugin. There are other limit plugins out there but most of them focus on building material limits, when some people just want to limit turrets and Sams... hope that made sense. Thx & keep up good work!

I was already thinking about creating a new plugin for SAMs.
The plugin will have the same functionality as this one but will only be for SAMs.
Furthermore, perhaps it is better to keep the limit of SAM turrets based on the radius, this way even bases that have many TCs can still set a limit of turrets limited by the radius. Otherwise based on TCs, they would still be able to put a lot of them. Alternatively I can apply both methods and you can choose in the configurations whether to use the limit based on the TC or the radius

I see your point, 100% ... Radius would work better for most instances. The option to toggle between the two would be good for sure.

It might be worth adding another config option that'll help maintain this a bit and that is to also add the ability maybe to limit the number of TC's per solo player / clan. 🙂

So for example purposes admin could set 1 Sam site per TC, 20 Turrets per TC radius, but then set a limit to the # of TC's a player/team/clan can have to ensure players aren't TC spamming 20+ TC's all over to circumvent? ... just a thought, not sure if possible.

At the moment the plugin is available on my personal store, you will find it here and on other stores shortly, after the approval phase is over (usually 1 or 2 weeks).

I have a player who came to me, let me know he exceeded the limit ... which is already set pretty high. Although not all his turrets are active, he has more than he should. The only thing I can really see maybe allowing this is he 1 main base with like 6 or 7 TC, then has another base with 1 TC, and another base with 1 TC. He has turrets at every base ... 

Possible to add a configuration option that makes it total turrets map wide, period?
While still respecting the increased size if someone is VIP in the clan... they get few more.

the limit can be exceeded, the limit is based on the area, and for example if you import the limit of 40 turrets, you can put 40 active turrets within 40 meters, but if you move further and into another area there are less than 40 turrets within a 40 meter radius, you can place more turrets.
If you want to limit this go into the settings and increase the radius.
40 is the base radius defined by rust
