Do you mean this timer? It appears when hovering over the 'old' price.

I just realized how awful that tooltip looks.

@Death It would be nice if, when looking at plugins that have recently been updated, there was a button to show what the update was or a quicker way to check each plugin's update without having to go to the store page and then to updates.

Maybe beside the version it has a button that says  "See whats new in version 1.1.3"  and you click it and it takes you to the spot where you see what the recent update is.

It would even be better if it was all displayed in one updates page so you could like copy it all at once and add it to your server change logs so everyone can know what was charged easier

I suggest adding a notification for plugin authors to inform them when *SOMEPLUGIN* includes their plugin in the compatibility list.
This way, plugin authors can discover plugins that work with theirs and reciprocally add them to their own compatibility lists.

What if an FAQ section is added to the plugin page? It would only be displayed if the author adds at least some content.
Sure, the Description section can be used, but many plugins already have a lot of information there, and the FAQ might get lost. Implementing a dedicated FAQ section would be convenient for quick answers.

I suggest adding a pinned message feature to the user's page(similar to the one on the plugin's page), allowing authors to make announcements directly on their profiles.

Click edit profile, enable status updates and then you can post on your activity feed which will alert followers. It's not quite what you asked for but this allows you to communicate directly with followers and have a wall where they can respond, etc.
