[After Dec 2 Update] error CS0246: The type or namespace name `NPCPlayerApex' could not be found

After today's update, getting a compile error on server start:

 

[Error] Error while compiling: BotSpawn.cs(2399,27): error CS0246: The type or namespace name `NPCPlayerApex' could not be found. Are you missing an assembly reference?

When I read that they "cleaned up" AI setups in the dev notes, well, I expected something like this to happen and it has.  Botspawn is now broken.

Doesnt look like they have any intention of fixing it and you just now have to buy their new $40 rebranded version of this plugin instead..  WHy couldnt this been planned ahead of time and given us time to transition to the paid plugin?

Because Steen himself didn't have much time.
Also before bitching around you should atleast try to see what happened, come to Discord Read what has been said and you would understand what's going on.

So, botspawn is dead.. I get that chyt happens.. but to flank out 40.00 for another botspawn, how about a discount because we have botspawn .. but good things coes to an end. I'm not forking 40 bucks quite just yet. ... Gonna chk out discord

LOL, just tell us what "NPCPlayerApex" has changed to and us freeloaders with NP++ will just ride this  plugin out as is.

I dont run a public server but like to plink a few bots on my build server.

@LaCKoSCN to clarify: asking for this to be closed because it is not really solvable, as this version of BotSpawn is now considered legacy because the December Rust update broke it entirely in regards to in-game AI (see mention in devblog here). Steen has released an alternative version of this plugin that is compatible w/ the changes to Rust. Accordingly, there is no practical solution to this ticket, so it should just be closed.
