So I just bought the plugin a few days ago, This is an add-on with preinstalled bases? and will it change any of my already made setting in config?

nice. as per the documentation it is a complete package that contains all files used by the plugin. you don't have to install anything you don't want to. if you just want the bases then move them to the copypaste folder. this entire package is receiving an update today as well

Hello,
Can we have the detailed characteristics of the different bases offered in the different versions.

The updates detailed in uMod are in the paid file ?

each tier inherits the tier below it. i plan to make them unique in the future

this is not the plugin. it is a package for the plugin

I found update in Med bases, tier 2 includes also them? or how to update T2 bases?

nivex

@Andres Siilbekwhat update? and you can simply copy the copypaste folders contents to your server from any update, as you would any other base

just note that an update to one tier does not mean it is necessary for the other tiers. lower tiers do not have as many bases so changes may not be needed to tier 1 or 2.

same applies with the free version vs the paid version. they're different versions. just because one requires an update does not mean the other will

If you own multiple tier packages... they are now unique and you can update Tier 1 or Tier 2 package to 1.0.6

Tier 3 package is unchanged

Download the respective tier(s) and copy the new base files from the data/copypaste/ folder in the zip archive into your oxide/data/copypaste/  folder

For TIER 1 use the console commands:

rb.config add "Easy Bases" raideasy11 raideasy12
rb.config add "Medium Bases" raidmed11 raidmed12
rb.config add "Hard Bases" raidhard11 raidhard12
rb.config add "Expert Bases" raidexpert11 raidexpert12
rb.config add "Nightmare Bases" raidnightmare11 raidnightmare12

For TIER 2 use the console commands:

rb.config add "Easy Bases" raideasy13 raideasy14 raideasy15 raideasy16 raideasy17
rb.config add "Medium Bases" raidmed13 raidmed14 raidmed15 raidmed16 raidmed17
rb.config add "Hard Bases" raidhard13 raidhard14 raidhard15 raidhard16 raidhard17
rb.config add "Expert Bases" raidexpert13 raidexpert14 raidexpert15 raidexpert16 raidexpert17
rb.config add "Nightmare Bases" raidnightmare13 raidnightmare14 raidnightmare15 raidnightmare16 raidnightmare17

@Porky

nice, thank you.

you will need to configure a buyable event cost so that /buyraid will work. Custom Buy Raid Cost are below these settings too

    "Buyable Event Costs": {
      "Require Custom Costs": true,
      "Require Economics Costs": true,
      "Require Server Rewards Costs": true
    },
    "Economics Buy Raid Costs (0 = disabled)": {
      "Easy": 0.0,
      "Medium": 0.0,
      "Hard": 0.0,
      "Expert": 0.0,
      "Nightmare": 0.0
    },
    "ServerRewards Buy Raid Costs (0 = disabled)": {
      "Easy": 0,
      "Medium": 0,
      "Hard": 0,
      "Expert": 0,
      "Nightmare": 0
    },

Hi Nivex,
Just need some clarification to be able to support you in your work.
The description states.

First 2 bases for each difficulty are included in tier 1.
First 5 bases for each difficulty are included in tier 2.
https://imgur.com/a/FxKVBGI

Does that mean Tier 2 have bases from Tier 1 included or are they unique in their own ways?

nivex

@KayKay

heya,

that info is outdated. I thought I removed this, sorry.

each tier has its own unique bases, and images are available for t3 only

you can look at the t3 images to get an idea of how the bases might look in t1 and t2 in terms of how large each base for each difficulty would be

there is going to be a new option in the next Raidable Bases plugin update, too

Player Damage To Base Multipliers, where you can set a multiplier for each damage type

Arrow, Blunt, Bullet, Heat, Explosion, Slash and Stab

so whenever a player does this type of damage to the base the multiplier would be applied

this has two really unique uses:

1. create a new profile with insanely difficult bases and scale these multipliers down to something like 0.5 so those damage types are only half as effective against these bases.

2. if your server is 1000000x you can use much smaller base and change the multiplier so that the base requires an amount of explosives equal to that typical on a 1000000x server. this reduce the amount of entities on your server, and adds a confusing but challenging element to the base

just note, this will confuse your players a lot if they're not well informed about it. I would just an add an option to adjust the buildings health, but nothing seems to work for that so far

added some other raid bases in addition to this pack but the additional bases aren't sharing the same loot as these, how do I have all raidable bases share the same loot table as Tier 2 bases for consistency? thanks

nivex

Posted (edited)

@HAVOC805

heya,

all loot tables within the Difficulty Loot folder would be shared with all profiles of the same difficulty.

no loot tables within the Base Loot folder are shared and will only work with a profile that has the same filename (RaidableBases\Base_Loot\Easy Bases.json will work with RaidableBases\Profiles\Easy Bases.json only)

you have two options

1. move all of your new bases into the existing profiles so that they are all shared, or

2. create duplicates of the Base Loot tables and give them the same filenames as your new profiles

Thank you nivex,  what are the steps to be taken to move all my new bases into existing profiles so they are shared? is a console command or?

 I'm new to this so thank you for the support.

@HAVOC805

you can either do it manually by editing the profiles within the oxide/data/RaiableBases/Profiles/ folder

or by using a console command. example:

rb.config add "Easy Bases" havoceasy1 havoceasy2 havoceasy3
rb.config add "Medium Bases" havocmed1 havocmed2 havocmed3
rb.config add "Hard Bases" havochard1 havochard2 havochard3
rb.config add "Expert Bases" havocexpert1 havocexpert2 havocexpert3
rb.config add "Nightmare Bases" havocnight1 havocnight2 havocnight3

etc

replace the havoc file names with your new files, and take care to put them into the correct profiles respective by difficulty

once you have completed this then you will need to remove the new profiles and use the existing above 5 profiles instead. otherwise it will still have a chance to spawn from the new profiles which you won't need anymore.
